Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

Crap happens. Is it a pain? Yes. Will it pass? Yes. Will we all end up with entry, betting 95% plus. Let's try not to be vicious with a company that brings us so much joy. They are definitely hurting too. Let's all use our coping skills.

I think the CM who told you that was wrong. If your resort won't be open, they will almost certainly move you somewhere else that is open without making you pay the difference. You just probably won't get to choose where they put you (if you want a specific resort, you'll likely have to pay the difference in that case). I'd give it a day or two and then call back. Clearly Disney didn't do an adequate job or preparing for this, and none of the CMs know what's going on right now (at no fault of their own).
Have seen posts from people on other sites that they were told they could move to an open resort and they would have to pay the upgrade. Huge difference in price going from say Pop Century to a DVC resort. Most that were posting were cancelling since the upgrade was extremely expensive. Think Disney is hoping people will cancel.
 
My tickets are linked to my hotel reservations. After that, there is NOTHING, for me to click on. I am computer challenged, but not that bad. What am I doing wrong. My first ressie is before the parks open, so I'm trying to add park ressies for my second one in september.......
Go to the drop down menu and it has a Park Reservation link to click on.
 
On my bus to work and I have chrome and safari open on my phone on castles...what is this orbit thing y’all are on about???
 
They don't answer. I emailed them an AP issue 4 days ago and got nothing but a "We're closed" automated response.
I know sometimes that happens, when I've wanted them to call back I make sure to say so and leave my name and number. In any case voicing your opinions through email will be the best way for them to see that you had an issue and if you call you can reference that email.
Venting here is all good but Disney doesn't read fan forums
