Disney World Reservation System -POST 1 FOR LINKS

Very interesting!! Followed your steps and I'm having the same issue. Please keep us posted. I'm almost tempted to re-assign our Gold AP Vouchers to the linked people to make our APR's.

Im on with IT right now and she shared the known AP issue. At this time they don't have an IT estimate to be resolved.

She is working her magic and shared something interesting... regardless of the number of days you have resort reservations, you can only book 14 park days. I asked "What about my other 16 nights" and she said it is a rolling number of 14 days; as soon as a day is used, another can be added.

This is odd as other folks are booking more than 14 days. So I'll be silent as she works issue #1.

I'm on hold with IT, and the CM there said it's 14 days per trip. Not sure what the right number is.

I feel everyone's about the hold time-3 hours on hold last night with IT to get disconnected. Any advice, or work arounds- I choose the park, then it says it can't find our tickets, put the ticket #'s in again, says in red we see your experiencing difficulty to call. Our tickets were linked months ago. Any suggestions???

How'd you get a chat session? It's grayed out for me.
It just popped up while I was on there website....I was actually looking at Disney Hotels in Disney Springs, as we need a reservation for one night on arrival day. It popped up and I jumped right in

What if you are a resort guest *AND* an AP? Would you have access to both?

(then again, I’m still able to only book one day, so all these uestions are a moot point, LOL)!
I think you are supposed to default to onsite - I think that was the exact issue APs were having is that some of them were defaulting to the AP bucket instead of the hotel bucket.

The first of my planned trips is for August, so there is plenty of time between now and then, but Florida's current numbers are giving me pause. I'm not making any decisions now, and like you, planning like I'm going but being ready to pivot last-minute if necessary.

And since my next trip is November, I'm hoping they have enough time to peak and second wave it by then since November trip is 4 and 1/2 months away and it's been March, April, May, June to get this far. I realize August is much closer and hope it works out for you and your family.

Of course I may be totally way of base here. If it looks bad either here or there I will cancel and continue hibernation with contactless delivery and my patio/backyard birdfeeders <g> for entertainment and exercise, plus all Dis contacts (and family) for mental health.

Hey guys,
Quick question if anyone can answer (I'm sorry if its been asked already ) :
I have two complimentary tickets to DHS. Looks like I cant reserve though, calendar is grey.
Any idea of when that might be possible?
Thank you.
Ok..I am not able to attach my comps to anyone and make reservations either. I'm a cast member and even though CMs are blocked, I was able to make park reservations for DH and myself for October but not add my comps or guest passes to the reservations. I can assign my comps to someone in my party and use that comp for a specific day but not if there is another ticket linked to that same person. I have a 4 day ticket AND a comp assigned to my DD and had to remove the comp.In other words you cannot have 2 different types of tickets assigned to the same person. I removed the comp and was able to use the 4 day to get reservations for those 4 days only. When I went back to assign the comp for the 5th day for DD I was not able to do that. So just gonna wait a few days ,or weeks, and call IT to see if they can fix the problem. Now we may not be able to go at all if block out days aren't lifted....
When all is said and done the computer only recognizes 1 ticket linked to 1 particular person. ANYTHING more complicated than that is going to be an issue...

On hold with the IT help desk 1 hour and 35 minutes and counting...but my TA has been on hold to try to change my resort reservation for over three hours...

I was on with IT this morning and CM said the same thing. Of course I mentioned that many others have 20+ days and she said they are being told that 14 days is the max. I'm only at 6 days right now, but need 20 total. My CM wasn't able to fix the issue and escalated it with a ticket. Told me she had no idea when I would hear something but to check MDE many times today to see if it was fixed. Hoping you get a better answer.
I even had the thought of parking those AP Renewal Vouchers on the profiles it pulled up the way you spoke about, but I'm too nervous to try that. Thanks for the updates!

Every phone number I try is all circuits busy or never picks up. 🤬🆘
The only number I can get to let me in a queue is 1-800-848-6413, the rest either ring busy or say all circuits are busy. That one sits on dead air for a long time after I dial, then abruptly I'll get a prerecorded message. However, I was on hold nearly an hour and got disconnected a little while ago, I'm trying to get back in line now (I'm not sure why, it's futile since I only have a couple of hours before I will have to go somewhere for a bit, but I'm still trying. I'm a glutton for punishment I guess.)

Let us know how it works out when changing your reservation after getting park reservations. We might do the same, but I’m afraid the park reservations will disappear 😢
Took 57 tries but got thru on the 7866#. Less than 5 minute wait. Was successful in switching resorts for same dates and my park passes stayed the same.

That is interesting! She also just shared something interesting and NEW... I'm having challenges and she is having challenges fixing one of the reservations due to a CUSTOM MACIG BAND being associated to the reservation. Oddly enough, this reservation is not displayed under the magic band page. She escalated and they are working some other work around as the regular manual work around won't work due to the band.

I've had a chat window up in the corner since 10:03 that says connecting and every few minuted updates with a message saying :

at 11:45, Jun 23:
Thank you for your message. A Cast Member will be with you as soon as they become available. We are currently experiencing very high chat volumes due to the temporary closure of Walt Disney World Resort. We appreciate your patience as we work hard to respond to all inquiries.

However, I can't leave a message, I'm assuming I can only ask a question once they answer? I tried to pr type in my issue, but after a while when a new "update" from them came out it disappeared.

What happens to the park reservations if I decide to change my resort at a later date?

I am experimenting with this today. My August trip is pre-YC opening, so I need to switch hotels. Booked park passes yesterday, on hold for GS right now to see what open hotel they‘re moving me to. I’ll post back about the fate of my park passes after the move is complete.
