the concept art shows them as all day fountains, so you probably won't see much of the body.

I guess I'm just surprised they're putting barges in place if we are still possibly months away. I'm so excited to see it!

They are stationary and need to be installed. You also have to run tests. You can’t do that backstage.

true - but the optimistic side of me makes me think then that they are within the window to want to start soon vs like being 6 months away from even considering starting.

So maybe like Feb/March more than July

From what I understand the plan is still that Epcot forever is the first show at Epcot back. Obviously things change though.

Can they show Epcot Forever with the Harmonius barges sitting in the center of the Lagoon? If they have to remove the barges to show Epcot Forever, it makes you wonder why they're installing them now, unless it's just to test them out before removing them again.

I thought one of the big reasons for even having EPCOT forever was because they could not do the lagoon work needed for Harmonious while Illuminations was still happening - so EPCOT foever was partialyl designed to fit aroud the Harmonius construciton. BUT that was for the origianl timeline of Harmonius construction, no idea how that schedule is adjusted now w

And much smaller platforms. I believe many of the Epcot forever pyro barges are intended to also be used for harmonious too.

the site that can't be names here has posted a few negative tweets this mroning, just to this point, that at least from some angles, they do block the view across the lagoon. I would think when they have the foutnains on it will add more of a positive view, but right now they are just those black metal boxes blocking the view/not adding anything

Hoping the fountains help although the pic above makes them appear better than the first pic I saw. It's all about angle...which is why I take pics with my chin(s) up!

This is only one though. There will be four like that and the large circle in the center. I personally think it is pretty obstructive to the great views of world showcase but such is life.

Yes, but the Harmonius barges will live in the lagoon. If they show Epcot Forever with the barges sitting in the middle of the lagoon, it'll affect the view across the lagoon. It won't affect people's ability to see the fireworks that explode higher up, but there are parts of the show where you're looking at things that aren't that high up. Maybe they'll just have the fountains going and treat it as part of the show. Maybe they'll remove the Harmonius barges before they next show Epcot Forever. Or maybe the next fireworks show at Epcot will be Harmonius.

The fireworks might not start for a while, and it might be EF back first, but I could definitely see the daytime water show starting within the next couple of months

I think it's quite bizarre to be putting up signage for Harmonious around the lagoon, but then show Epcot Forever. That might be a bit confusing...people will be like, gosh, Harmonious is awful!
