Why does this happen? example: Be Our Guest

Looking for Be Our Guest Lunch on July 28th 2021. If I put in "lunch" it says "Sorry! There are no times available between 11:00 AM and 2:55 PM."
If I put in 11:30 it says "Reserve a table at 11:20 AM" Isn't 11:20 between 11:00 AM and 2:55 PM?
This has happened more than once.
 
I have often found that to be so. I like to dine early and will look for 'dinner' availability and see none in the app, but then I put in 5:30 and see several options.
 
To the OP, If it's any consolation it's happened to me.
 
It's not always even a fix to do specific times. I remember searching for 7pm... no tables available. Searched for 7:30 and a there were several tables suddenly available in the 6:30-8pm range--all of which should have come up with a search for 7pm.

Yeah, I usually just check every single time slot because I've had the same experience.

I usually go back and forth between choosing a meal like lunch or dinner and entering an actual time as it does get different results. I get a lot of error responses too. Or it will say nothing is available at all, when 2 seconds before there were dozens of restaurants with multiple times to choose from. I usually just try again after a few minutes and they pop up once more. Their website really is awful sadly.
 
I'm really not sure, but selecting each hour instead of a meal has gotten me 90% of my reservations.
 
We found the same issue this past weekend while book. I remembered it being an issue the last few times. I just look up a specific time now. I have no clue why but it is very annoying!
 
I have been "practicing" getting a dinning reservation before I can make an actual one and the problem seems like it is always there. If it was consistent that would be okay, but it is highly unpredictable. Consistently inconsistent.
 
Would agree that it happens frequently.
As others have noted, I always search by a time rather than a meal.
 
I’ve had this happen in years past. We like to do the latest character breakfast possible in the parks after we rope drop. When I book it doesn’t always give me the latest time when I search. But if I book 10:15 and then immediately go back in and modify it, there will usually be a 10:40 time slot available for us. It’s never available during the initial booking but shows up when you immediately try to modify the reservation. Weird.
 
Pretty sure Disney IT still uses Windows 95.:badpc:

Had the same issues anytime I have tried using the breakfast, lunch, or dinner buttons. I think they may just be for decoration.

The biggest issue I had with last trip is if I needed to cancel an adr, I would get an error message that it's not able to be cancelled at this time and then a few hours later I have an email with my cancellation confirmation:rolleyes:
