Disney's POP CENTURY RESORT Information & Questions

I can verify that you can buy a case of the small water bottles for $6.99. We found them in the refrigerated section with the price marked so you can just grab a case
I wonder if they limit the supply? I went early in my stay and there were no cases in the fridge so I asked; they told me they would have a few later in the day.
I returned the next morning and the CM said they don't sell cases. So I bought a gallon of distilled water.
A few day later I tried again and got the, "We'll have some cases later in the day." reply.
On my last morning as I was grabbing breakfast I saw a couple of cases on the bottom shelf of the refrigerated section...

I saw them around 2pm when I was getting a late lunch, on two separate days. Maybe they restock close to official check in time, since that might be the peak time for sales. I bring my own as I prefer Zephyrhills to Dasani.

It seems not all CMs know about the cases of water. If you ask one and they say 'no' I'd recommend asking a different one. Also, go between the food court and store as it seems they can be swapped back and forth and are not always in the same location.

I'm looking at doing a grocery delivery on our next trip but we don't land until 11:45pm. Who knows when we will get to the hotel... Bell services still stores perishables, correct? Is someone at bell services 24/7? I'm trying to decide if I should get my small grocery order sent the evening of my arrival 8-9pm (then take to my room when we get to the hotel) OR do an early morning the next day and just delay my first day a little (which I don't really want too LOL)

They have refrigerators for the perishables, so you're good to go. We ordered groceries two weeks ago. They were delivered around 6 pm while we were getting dinner at Disney Springs. We picked them up when we got back around 9:30 pm.

Did either of you happen to ask about purchasing a case of water from either the gift shop or food court? I've heard in the past that this may be the way to do it.

When we were there Sept 18-25 they didn’t have any cases of water. Generally you would ask in the food court and my husband checked multiple times during the week. They normally do so it may just be they didn’t get any that week.

So if they aren't manned 24/7 (say we get to the hotel at 1am in the morning and no one is there to assist at bell services) getting them at 7am the next morning shouldn't be an issue?

Thanks! You never know with staffing and/or Covid. 🙂 Looks like a late arrival for groceries will work! Off to go find flat coffee pods now! 😂
Grocery Pickup is just to the right of the main entrance into Classic Hall.

If for whatever reason it happens not to be manned when you get there,go to the Front Desk and they will arrange for someone to accommodate you.

No problems.

Thinking of staying at Pop for the first time next August. We like the idea of pop over movies due to the skyliner. Is the line for the skyliner always really long in the mornings? TIA

In my experience; yes, line for the skyliner always really long in the mornings.

Usually starting about 60 minutes before DHS opens and getting very long by 30 minutes before opening. But by the time the park opens the line is gone.

May I ask when your most recent trip was? Just curious as we begin to plan for our next trip. Thanks!

Great, thanks for the information

My DHS reservation was on the first day of the standby line for RotR. I was in the 50's building and could see the end of the Skyliner line at 8:15AM. I had a cup of coffee, did a little straightening up around the room and walked out the door at 9.

No line at POP and about 6 groups in front of me at CBR. No line to enter the park. Wait time was about 160 min by the time I got there. 10 for RnR, 13 for ToT. I finally returned to DHS around 5PM and the RotR line was listed as 40 minutes - took me 25.

Had an almost identical experience on my next DHS reservation day which was the 29th. But I headed to DHS two other times after 5PM and rode RotR with under 40 minute wait each time.

I think it really depends on the time of year you are there. We went a couple weeks ago and the longest we ever waited was five minutes. I heard August was very similar to my experience due to lower crowd levels.

A line for the skyliner is different though in that you are moving as they load continuously rather than standing for a bus.

Did you ever head to the Skyliner for DHS rope drop?
