A lot of the rooms had been booking up for the last 3 months of 2022. I had been checking to pick up one more day in December back in early Feb and suddenly from one day to the next everything that had remained was gone. Now just a couple of days ago March-June or July was flooded with new availability. I'm feeling like they had planned to start in the spring and now have pushed it back. I seriously hope it's wrong and that they aren't insulting further by pushing the long delayed refurb into the busiest 3 months of the year.

It's true some July dates I have been looking at that were previously unavailable are now available. I hoped they were going to get the renovations done before the holidays but seems increasingly unlikely...

there usually are some dates available though…this is basically a complete blackout right now pre-7 month window for those dates. Looked at some of the hardest rooms to get in all of DVC - AKV value, BLT standard, BWV standard and all have more dates available than BRV in that same time frame, which is unheard of honestly. BRV having 0 studios available from October 5th through January while CCV or Beach Club have about 20 and 40 dates still open also seems like an extreme outlier to the norm, making me think it’s either another glitch, or the refurb is unfortunately happening then.

Just updating...all room categories are now back and fully available for October-November...1-bedrooms now fully back through January, with December looking pretty normal with some limited availability. They sure are keeping us on our toes and keeping us guessing. Maybe 2023 will be BRV's time!

This is getting ridiculous. I am so frustrated with this delay. They budgeted for this to happen, what, 2-3 years ago? Where is that money? Just sitting somewhere earning interest? Paying for the GF and Poly refurbs that jumped ahead of us in line?

There was a giant batch of dates for all rooms that were gone for Spring 2022 even before the 7 month mark. Then those rooms all became available, and the same thing happened for a giant batch of dates for all rooms for Fall 2022. For both of those times, CCV had ample availability while BRV had zero in that batch, which is counterintuitive for the typical availability pattern for those two resorts.

There's no news or announcement on it yet, but it would seem that they originally held the rooms for the refurb in Spring 2022, and then changed it and are now holding the rooms for Fall 2022. Though, since there's no news on it yet it could easily be pushed back again.

There were some dates for various rooms though. I was watching and thinking about picking up end of December dates so checking frequently and in early Feb between one evening and the next morning suddenly every room available in all types for the previous 3 months was gone. Highly unlikely that they had been sitting there well past the 11 month window and all of them were snatched up in that timeframe of 12 hours or less. I've since seen a couple of night in Nov pop up that I guessed were cancellations.

We have a reservation for Nov 11-16 in a 2BR. Pretty iffy on getting a newly refurbed room I imagine.

Just booked March 11th-19th studio. Kinda weird someone going into an occupied room to measure the drapes and was forth right about when the refurb was going to start.....seemed like they would already have that info already since there is a model room already done. I will take any news at this point however!!!

It was on the Facebook. Not from a bus driver. Obviously you need to take it with a huge grain of salt until we get confirmation from a bus driver.
