I'd agree if Disney didn't let you bring in your own food. Cold sandwiches are the easiest snacks/meals you could pack and if they sold them most people would look at the prices and decide to just pack their own. I'm not trying to bully picky eaters, DD has ARFID and I have to bend over backwards everyday to make sure she doesn't starve herself, but it is impossible to cater to every single taste unless you have a world showcase in every park. If you are picky due to some medical reason I can attest that Disney tries harder than most to accommodate you.
Agree, imo if I wanted a sandwich I would just make it and bring it, cheaper and probably tastier. I realize that it's not everyone's situation but for me and everyone that I've gone to the parks with we'll rather try stuff that we can't find elsewhere or at least something that is harder to make. I can have sandwiches literally every single day I'm not at Disney. And considering their prices, I would never pay $20+ for a ham sandwich.

Disney names new Chief Digital and Technology Officer as the company expands its digital services

Gail Evans is joining the Walt Disney Company as the new Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Technology Officer. Future digital platforms coming soon to Walt Disney World will include MagicBand+, the next generation of Disney's wearables, and Hey Disney, the personal assistant that will be part of the hotel experience and available at home.

Gee, maybe she'll actually DO something about the sad state of Disney's IT systems? We can only hope...

Is anyone else seeing hotel price increases this morning? We've been monitoring certain dates (Christmas and New Year's 2022), and POP standard for one night on NYE went up $9.

HHI has also gone up about $5 a night for the same timeframe.

Welcome to March, I guess! :confused3

ETA: I repriced a 5-night package we already have booked at the All Stars and it would cost $30 more now.

Our four night stay at YC that I booked on Saturday costs an additional $103.48 today. Now I can't make any changes to my reservation or I will have to pay the new price. But I am glad that I made the reservation before the price jumped. :)

Disneyland Paris will (almost) completely get rid of the mask mandate

Great news! :D

Due to the new measures, Disneyland Paris is getting rid of the masks, as people need to show their vaccine pass to get in.
(Ok, as long DLP doesn't check ID with the pass, it's still easy to get in, but let's go with the good intension of the people)
Masks will only be required on the transportation system.
Why wouldn't they check to make sure that your ID matches your VaccinePass?

The countdown is on. Marvel's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, The Defenders, The Punisher, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. start streaming March 16 on #DisneyPlus.

Available in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Updated parental controls available in the U.S. on March 16.

Disney Plus Twitter

This is pretty big D+ news, as I think this is the start of (borderline?) R rated content on D+ in the US. From the recent Variety article ...

Marvel Netflix Content Moving to D+

With the addition of these titles, some of which like “Daredevil” are violent and more mature, Disney Plus will simultaneously release an update to its existing parental controls in the U.S., prompting all subscribers to update their settings. The settings include an option to select content ratings restrictions for each profile and to add a PIN to lock profiles. Those that choose to keep their settings the same will continue to use Disney Plus as they always have within a TV-14 content rating environment, with the option to make changes at any time under the profile settings tab.

This brings up the bigger question of why we need Hulu in the US? Just set up the parental controls and have all the Disney owned content in one portal
