When I set mine up I had to fight with my wallet for a few days to get it to add. Not sure why but it did eventually get added.
I was just at Wdw for a week. I didn’t have many opportunities to shoot for a discount, and I didn’t go to parks, but I had a situation (described in a moment) that kept me from having the card on my phone, and every CM just gave me the discount.
The CMs I met were very aware of the issues and were kind. The old Dvc MB slider I had on my smart watch band might have helped lol.
(On day 3 my phone took a swim just as its waterproof case decided it didn’t want to be waterproof anymore. I had to get a new phone. I had just changed a bunch of passwords last month, but hadn’t backed up my old phone, so the new stuff didn’t port over. Some of those passwords were for my gmail and the new stuff in my wallet didn’t make the journey either. What a pain.)
Has a magic band ever connected to the blue card?
FWIW my bands have at the very least showed them the Dvc reservation and that was enough. More than one restaurant server in the past has said they saw the Dvc designation when they scanned the band and didn’t need the card.
Not saying it was supposed to happen or will in the present or future, but it did for me. But I do tend to get the exceptions, both good and bad lol.
Oh good grief!! Is this really what I am going to have to go through to get my husband set up. Can’t be that this is an expected normal procedure.
Dvc rrally does expect that all members and associates will create accounts. I (as an associate back then) made my own life harder by setting up my then-husband’s account using my email etc and never setting up my own. When he left and I got the Dvc it was a very weird process to get it all over into my name etc, since I was actually in HIS account.
Setting up those accounts years down the road isn’t what they expect, so it creates extra steps.
I wanted to do multiple quotes - still have not figured that out. I used to do it before they changed the format here - years ago
See how tech savvy I am......
These screenshots are from the app, but the basic process is the same on a computer.
At the bottom of each post you should see this:
Click on “+Quote” for the posts you want to quote.
If you don’t want the entire post you can edit it later. Or you can highlight what you want and then a little pop up will give you the option to quote just that part.
When you are finally ready to reply, at the bottom of the page you'll see:
Click “Insert Quotes”.
That will bring up something like this, showing the posts or post snippets you want to use:
Click “Quote messages” and it should plop it all into your message. Then go back up and add in your responses where you want them. Once done click “Post Reply.”
Hope that helps!
And remember that we set up neurological pathways with our self-talk. If we always say “I’m bad at math” we’ll lose our drive to learn math. So stay positive about what you can learn!!!
