***Official November 2022 Thread***

I’ve been checking the park hours every day and it seems they are releasing them one day at a time! I’ve been a WDW obsessed planner for many years and I’ve never seen them do it this way. If anyone is going to be there Nov 1st, those hours are posted! (MK 9-10)
Agreed. I miss the early planning stages....180 was my friend! :wish180 (ok...it was the only thing I could find with 180 on it....please disregard the word "pounds".

Our ADR day is September 4. I can't wait!

I sat down with DD and went over our ADRs. Most places we had planned on going to were repeats. She has been on tiktok watching Disney content and had a list of places she wanted to try. I told her we can't do all of these ADRs plus our originals. We both agreed we would rather go to new places and switch it up. I was starting to feel like we were planning the same vacation as last time with our ADRs and she agreed.

This is our new line up:

Steakhouse 71 lunch
San Angel Inn lunch
Topolino's breakfast
Homecomin lunch
Sanaa lunch
Sci Fi lunch
Cali Grill dinner (I have been here before)
Grand Floridian Cafe breakfast

We also have some lounges and Three Bridges planned. Along with plenty of QS. I think I am 71 days out!!

I noticed there is not a thread on page 1 with everyone's "data"; so I'll post mine just for the sake of sharing info:
We are doing a split/split/split stay. LOL first time ever. 3 hotels (Hilton BV palace 2 nights, Portofino Bay 2 nights, Hilton LB (at DS) 5 nights). I've been taking the family to WDW since 2011 and this will be our first time trying Universal. I chose Portofino Bay because we have 8ppl and the "Free" Express Pass is included, which is a great deal for us....plus I know nothing about Universal, so I will be "that guy" not knowing where I'm going etc.....having the ExPass will help with my slowness. :)

We will be at WDW as follows:
Nov 22 - MVMCP
Nov 23 - Epcot & PH to AK & MK
Nov 24 - HS & PH to MK
Nov 25 - off day and mini golf
Nov 26 - HS & PH to Epcot (at least the adults will be)

We have a split
Nov 14-19 Swan
Nov 19-21 Contemporary

quite worried about this switchover Disney just did to the park tickets showing each individually. Not sure how that is going to work on Genie+ and ILL. Haven’t been able to figure out yet how to link the tickets as if they were one.

Southwest Airlines has kindly granted me 2 extra hours of fun on my departure day (flight was 4:35, is now 6:40), so now I have time to go to a park and have lunch before I have to catch my Sunshine Flyer to the airport. But where to go?? 🤔🤔🤔 I’m thinking Epcot may be a good choice because it’s less about rides and more about wandering around.

Did anyone else try to book a Disney hotel during Thanksgiving week? I was looking just for fun and the past 3 days there is literally not 1 room showing up on my search (for 2A/2C). I don't recall seeing that in past years.

We are arriving right after Thanksgiving. I have been keeping an eye on the days before Thanksgiving since we might add a few days.

For some reason, when I browse on my iPad on my regular safari browser there is nothing available. If I go to private browser I can see a few rooms. Try a different browser or going on private.

We are traveling right after Thanksgiving.
We will doing a 3 way split stay. I would like to add one more night at Hard Rock but it has been sold out for awhile. I’m not sure if I should just switch our flights to Sat. instead of Sun or book a forth hotel for that last night. I could always do the Hyatt at Mco or Gaylord Palms to try it.

Fri-Sun - Grand Floridan dvc resort studio
Sun-Thurs Copper Creek one bedroom
Thur-Sat. Hard Rock

We are going very light on Disney parks. 1 full day at MK and one night at the Xmas party. We did Disney last year so we are trying new stuff we miss by spending all our days at the parks.

So far we have Seaworld, MK, Xmas party, Universal AP’s, a night at Orlando Informer meet up for the adults. Hoping to try new activities such as renting a pontoon boat, archery/horseback riding at Fort, carriage ride at Fort, amphicar at Boathouse, Splitsville for bowling.
Also planning to tour the skyliner resort and do an evening of arcade hopping which DS7 will love.

I am still attempting to make a list of adrs. It’s coming up quick and I can’t narrow it down!

Breakfast:
Ohana
Chef Mickey
Grand Floridian Cafe
Whispering Canyon
Maybe Topolino?

Lunches
Grand Floridian Cafe
Whispering Canyon
Beaches and Cream
Trex

Dinner
Hoop de Doo
Citricos
Storybook at Artist Point
Toothsome at Universal

Debating on adding CRT and Toppolino somewhere. They are so pricey and altogether my kids will like them I don’t think they really care that much. I do wish 1900 Park Faire or Bon Voyage breakfast would return. We haven’t tried those yet.

I don't know about during Thanksgiving, but I know there is literally not one hotel available during Jersey week, which is the week before my trip. I looked at dates for both weeks and only picked the later week because I had to. I hadn't learned about Jersey week at that point, so I got lucky.

And this was in mid July. I was shocked to see the hotels already completely sold out for dates almost 4 months away. I've checked occasionally since then and it's always the same.

It’s pretty normal—school breaks sell out. I’d suggest you may want to try looking for a split stay rather than the full week.

We are doing a trip with extended family and our trip spans that week. This past weekend, another cousin opted to join us for part of the trip. He was able to call in and book a room at Boardwalk Inn from that Friday before Thanksgiving through the 22nd. He wanted to book a 1 bedroom villa but couldn’t; none were available. He’s only booking for 2 adults and 1 toddler (under 3).

I agree with pp that you may be stuck with a split stay at this point, but also say keep checking and you may be able to modify to get at the same resort. Availability was already tight, but is now especially so with the AP discount that just came out.

The #1 thing I want to do on this trip is Hoop Dee Doo and a carriage ride our MK night (it's a party night)!

I'd also love Toppolino's but don't have my heart set on it. I heard someone say one of the reasons it's so hard to get is because EPCOT doesn't have a lot of breakfast options at the moment so a lot of people try to go here on their EPCOT day. I really wish Garden Grill would bring back breakfast, we used to go every trip.

We’re also there the week after Jersey (14-21) and it’s busy then too. Was hoping for a low in between Jersey week and Thanksgiving. Guess we will see.

Great to see this group so active! :) It's really fun hearing everyone's plans and advice.

Yeah, I feel like I have no idea what to expect in terms of crowds... makes planning difficult!
