Pickle - the shelter runt kitty. Only 7 lbs. Must be in your lap or lying on top of you at all times.

Moo - the dumpster kitty. Found him (he found us) at 6 weeks in the yard. He looked like Groucho Marx. He is a tuxedo cat, all Tom cat, and a big bad toddler acting kitty. Paid $1300 to remove 3.5 feet of ribbon out if him. So dumb, but he is sweet and we love him to pieces.

Our cats are rescues, but I will admit our dog is a purebred diva.

I chose I own one cat AND other. I technically own the cat, but my daughter took her to college 2 years ago so she's only been here occasionally on breaks since then. However, I still foot the vet bills of course.

ETA: The cat is between 15 and 16 and I am honestly worried about how my daughter will cope when that cat dies. She's been a big part of her life and basically her emotional support when her dad and I divorced, multiple moves, breakups, etc.

We have a 20 year old Siamese that just showed up about 17 years ago. We took her to my SIL who’s a vet and had her fixed. She lives in our detached garage and can come and go through her cat door that my husband put in for her. The garage is heated in the winter and she also enjoys hanging out with us by the pool in the summer. She’s very protective of her home and never goes though the cat door if there are other cats around.

Not really a cat person myself, but we do have a few barn cats we see on occasion. Their names are Black Cat and Black & White Cat:o not very imaginative I know! They hang out in the barn and putz around the woods & fields, and are not interested in any interaction with people.

I’m definitely a cat person. Have had many over the years. Current have one in the house and one outdoors.

I've never owned a cat. My mother had a cat phobia, and since we lived together until she passed away I was never able to have one. I moved here with my aunt, and she doesn't like pets especially cats so no dice here either. I love cats, and I watch videos and stuff. We have a lot of feral ones in the neighborhood, and I have been know to "psst psst" at them to try and get them to come over for a pet. This drives my aunt up a wall, but I do it anyway...she's afraid one of them is going to follow me into the house.

I do not currently have a cat. I love cats, but I'm not a fan of cleaning litter boxes.

I have had cats in the past. We never actively "got a cat" but we lived in the country and would end up with cats adopting us. (They were either feral kittens from our neighbor's farm... or cats that someone dumped "in the country.") My dad, who claimed to dislike cats, would let us feed them (outside). Once winter started, he was a softie and let us bring them inside. After that, they became indoor cats.

We currently have a dog, and I think he would antagonize a cat (he would want to play with it/pounce on it all the time). I am happy being a dog family right now but I wouldn't rule out having a cat again someday.

Our neighbors growing up, who had a farm, also had "creative names" for their barn cats. Their black and white cat was "B.W." The one who kept having kittens was "Mama Kitty." etc. The black cat had the most creative name. I think it was "Midnight."

I have two sister feral moggies which I rescued about 10 years ago. I also had their brother but he died recently after being attached by a badger I think. They sleep in my porch and are tolerant of people but not particularly friendly. I live in the countryside so they keep the mice under control.

I currently do not have a cat of my own. I have a grandcat, my daughters cat that only stays in her room. There are also the “backyard” kitties. Several cats that hangout in my backyard.

I will likely get a orange & white kitty at some point.

We rescued a young tabby that had been kicked out of its home during a very cold January. Our daughter had always wanted a cat and this one was about 6 months old. The vet said that the kitten appeared to have come from a home rather than being a feral cat. Tiger was a wonderful cat who lived until he was 22 years old. But that was the last pet for us. We like to travel too much to have another pet to take care of. :)

They all came with names (we get our barn cats from local humane society that has a feral cat program - that way we get no kittens!) but I'll be darned if I recall them! We've had a Big Kitty, Little Cat and Orange Cat as well.

We have two cats, about 18 months old. They are snoopy and scroungey(behavior, not their names. They love to hang around me and DW, we love having them. They are sisters and they will work in tandem to wreak havoc.
