OK, so, tell me how I did here...I had 8 day date flexible parkhoppers that I bought in Nov 2019 from Undercover Touritst for a trip in April 2020. As you know, that trip got cancelled. Those tickets then "expired" at the end of 2020 and fell off of my account. I had to call 3 different times for someone to find them. They finally found them today. I am a DVC member and wanted to upgrade to a Sorcerer Pass, and explained to them that my next trip wasn't until January 2024. He said it was no problem and that I would get a "certificate" that expired in 2099. After I paid to upgrade, he said "oh,sorry, these are live tickets and they expire a year from today." Clearly, that didn't sound right to me. He transferred me somewhere else and after 30 minutes of holding, the other woman said "these are live tickets, but the date doesn't start until you use them". Now, that makes sense to me, but given I have been given plenty of incorrect information so far, does that sound right to you?
Also, they actually gave me slightly less than what I originally paid as credit, forget about bridging to today's prices. I was just happy that they found my $2600 in tickets that I didn't balk. What should have happened in terms of my credit?
edit to add: It seems to me like maybe they gave me the amount Undercover Tourist paid for the tickets, rather than the amount I paid. It was about $90 less in total.
