Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Hello everyone sorry if this answer is somewhere I tried searching , even google , can’t find it!
When is the grand Floridian club reopening ?? Any rough ideas ? TY

Unfortunately, it has not been announced yet. Some reports suggest the rooms will be completed prior to the holidays, and actual lobby renovations to be completed after the holidays are over.

Come on DLP hotel! Please reopen in time so I can compare and contrast you with Disneyland and WDW cl's!!

I have 16 active magicbands, 8 for me and 8 for my spouse. I usually bring 2 a piece with us. Both magicbands are less than 4 years old. The CL managers check them out and make sure they work.

Same, I try to deactivate those I’m not bringing, but I always bring a few!! I like options. I always need to get mine set up when I arrive, but it’s pretty quick.

That is fantastic!! I’ve been to Paris several times but not for a while, so I know zip, zero, nada about DLP - I had to go look at the hotels. Are res hard to get? What’s your backup resort?

Same, I try to deactivate those I’m not bringing, but I always bring a few!! I like options. I always need to get mine set up when I arrive, but it’s pretty quick.

It’s been years - my grad school student was in grade school - the last time we stayed CL at AKL. Is there a bathroom near/in the club (like Chronos or BWI) where we can change clothes if our room isn’t ready when we get there?

@SkyGuy Yes, AKL has a bathroom right outside of the lounge area, after you get off the elevators.

I used to work for Gymboree where “Match Matics “ works for you. That means I like to match , lots of stuff.

I miss those days! Previewing skus that someone would find, staying up and waiting for the new line or Gymbucks to go live on line…

Pretty sure my Gymbo obsession and it’s ultimate demise is what led me to Disney. Now I can focus my time on nabbing CL rooms.

I completely forgot gymboree was a store. I couldn't figure out what Trish was doing at gymboree class with matching I thought she matched babies in circle time.

Ok so I check resort availability obsessively. This morning a gran destino cl room became available from my September stay. Of course I booked it. I now have BWI no cl and Gran destino booked. It's friends food and wine so BWI makes sense but I've wanted to try the tower cl. I like bwi because of the bars and activity on the boardwalk but not sure if we would realistically go to them. I know we are also going to AK, not sure if she wants any other parks (besides epcot). If we do stay csr I will walk out IG and uber back. Am I crazy for not staying epcot area for food and wine?
