What did you bake today ? OK if not from scratch

These sound great. Would you mind sharing the recipe? I'm always looking for something different to bring into work and if they make a big batch that would be perfect.
Yes, Tinkerbellandpeterpan: I put that recipe on this thread a while ago, but I can save you from going through all the pages: It's a long recipe and I have lots of ideas along the way. But it is definitely worth it. Just make sure you have someone with good arm strength to stir the mixture when you add the oats, LOL. I have bad hands, so my husband takes over with that part:) It is a very stiff mix to stir at that point.

Chewy Butterscotch Pnut butter Bars:

350 degrees for 17 minutes.

1 stick Softened butter (I just warm it in the microwave)
1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup lite brown sugar, packed
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 Tablespoon Vanilla
3 large eggs
2 cups quick oats
1 1/2 cups old fashioned Oats
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 cup mini chocolate chips
1 Bag(12 oz) butterscotch chips ( I only use 1/2 bag of these and that's enough for us)

In a Large bowl, mix Butter, Pnut butter, sugar, brown sugar until fluffy and pale.

Add VAnilla and Eggs and beat.

Add quick oats and old fashioned oats and Baking Soda. Will be hard to mix.

Add chocolate chips and butterscotch chips (you can save some for the top but I don't)

Dump dough onto a large cookie sheet and spread out evenly. Will be Sticky and hard to spread. I use the wrapping from the stick of butter to press down on the dough and that works pretty well.

Because there is no flour used, they will appear to be undone and slightly gooey. That is normal.
Bake for 17 to 20 minutes. I only bake for 17 minutes and it works out perfectly.
Let it cool for 30 minutes and cut with a pizza cutter. Keep covered or you can freeze them. (I never have any left to freeze. As soon as the kids and grandkids find out that I baked these, they are gone:)

Enjoy:)
