Official 2016 Disneyland Half Marathon Thread

Is anyone else counting down events in their head? "At this time next week I'll be done with the expo" "at this time next week I'll be done with the 10k" "at this time next week I can go to Trader Sam's and not worry about dehydrating myself" haha... Thursday needs to hurry up and get here!

Yes....I do that with ALL my trips.

Does anyone recall is they have the massage tent open after the 10k or is it just the half?
I could really use one in between those races!

Oooh I didn't realize there was a massage tent!! Does it usually have long lines?

I'm getting so excited! Don't actually get into Anaheim until Saturday afternoon, but I am counting down the days at work on the east coast until departure time. ;)
 
Passed by the Downtown Disney parking lots on the way back to Mickey and Friends and there were no tents or staging areas set up yet. I'm sure that there will be stuff sent over around Monday - maybe they're just waiting for the weekend to be over?

Super crowded today! Looks like the Deluxe passholders were allowed in and they're making the most of the Paint the Night parade before it's too late.


Weather was perfect again. Mid-70s with clouds until around 11am. Light breeze... would have been perfect for the 10K had it been today! :P
 
Waiting for fireworks now and the crowds for this and PTN are/were a bit nuts. I can't imagine how next weekend is going to be!!

This happens to us more often than not. Every time we wanted to stay and watch the fireworks they were canceled. :( We finally saw the show last weekend .... after 18 months. :P

I really hope they aren't randomly canceled for the remainder of the week before they go away ~forever~.

The weather has been crazy and unusual lately. I was even in a jacket and jeans last night nom, so it was more like a track/tech jacket but still. The winds are what get it cancelled. The neighborhoods are just too close.

Not only did I catch the fireworks, I got a front row standing spot for PTN and rode every ride in Tomorrowland. What! #success it's the least busy I've seen it this year tonight. Of course, now I've jinxed the week, sorry DISers :)
