ABC's of Trip Planning (Oct 10-20), Vol. 2- Z is for: Zippidee Doo Dah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hellloooo! I've been MIA for a while around here...but now I'm back and your trip is so close!!! That is so exciting!! See what happens when you go away and come back lol!! I have to go back and read more about how things have been going for you!! Looking forward to following along again!

I will!! I don't know if she's completely ditched the DIS and gone to another Forum altogether, or taking a break, or...? I will ask. I really enjoy her company and I"m sure we'll do a lot of catching up!

I think she just does not have the time... I think something lots of us seem to suffer from!

On the bright side, it's looking GREAT and what a difference!

I like the stone! What is it?

Those special bed-making, toilet cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mostly non-towel-animal-creating, people are the MOUSEKEEPERS!

Oh, I love Mousekeeping, too!! It is even more wonderful on the cruise when they come twice per day!! I miss them when we stay with DVC as there it is really limited. You can purchase additional mousekeeping there and I have done that in the past. I just really love it when my bathroom is cleaned and the bed is being made in a professional way (not being used to the American bedding style, my bed making skills are not very good at all!).

Anara decided on her Halloween Party costume, and we've been very busy ordering and gathering the items for it. Let me just say, I'm SUPER jealous and am sorta second guessing my Nursing Costume now. She's utterly adorable in her Steampunk Alice costume.

How cute!!

On day 4 you get Trash and towel service. Normally we don't even stay this long in one location. On day 7 you get a full cleaning, so it does save on the tips.

Actually, if you stay more than 7 nights you get a full cleaning on day 4 instead of the trash and towel service and then on day 7 the trash and towel service (and then repeating that pattern for the rest of your stay). One of the reasons why I like to book stays for more than 7 nights! Gives me one free cleaning! And I have purchased additional ones in the past.

Lots of stuff and changes going on over here so haven't been around lately but am trying to remedy that!

First and foremost, i'm so glad to hear that there has been an improvement with your Dad. I'm not sure I accidentally skipped over it, but where does he live? Not near you i'm assuming? Praying things continue to get better!

his year it's called Warm Chocolate Pudding with Irish Cream Liqueur Custard

Alison is the one that sold me on this and it was AMAZING (when I went in 2013 it was with Bailey's Custard)!

And this was one of my top 3 favs:love:

I'm curious: For those of you who've done this once or twice, what were your favorites?

The Gyro from Greece

The Berbere Style Beef from Africa was one of the more memorable ones for me!

Literally everything in Germany

And if by chance you try the ravioli in Italy, it's DEFINITELY shareable. It was MASSIVE!

But seriously, if you don't get the noodles with shrimp in China, we may have to stop talking to each other:teeth:

Agh super cute and creative!

Steampuck Alice for reals?!!? Amazing!

I am using the clear, zippered bags I got with my bedskirt (yes, I actually have saved them JUST for THIS trip!)

Ha glad i'm not the only one who's thought of keeping those bags! Always thought they could make great use of something, but was never sure what!

Beautiful. Er, and slightly creepy since I'm not a fan of spiders:scared:

The floor is gorgeous! I love it!

But, I could also use Mousekeeping at my house...

Thanks! The great thing is that now ALL of the sides of my appliances are squeaky clean, the floor underneath is clean and the walls behind them are clean too. Maybe I should get a new floor every year!

Wow you are one busy lady! I'm working 6 out of the next 7 days so I know how you feel. At least I'm not trying to go through a remodel at the same time!

I don't have my schedule for the week before we leave yet, so will know how many work days probably tomorrow. Time for a post though along those lines- I always do a "Only XXX more' kind of post in all my PTRs.

Best plans! Stay super busy so you can sleep on the plane!

Nope, the best plan is the: "Take an Ambien so you can sleep on the plane" plan.

You are so creative! I just used the notepad in the room and wrote " for mousekeeping...thank you!"

That's perfect though! Less to pack and fiddle with. ;)

Stunning photo!

Thanks! I think I'm in love with my new lens.

Awesome Alice costume!
Your Mousekeeping envelopes are way better than mine.
I always wish for a maid, cook, housekeeper, gardnerer...

Thanks! She looks super cute in it. However, it does need some alterations. I'll have to drag my sewing machine out this weekend and figure that out. The bust is too big and the bodice too long for her. I'll have to take the whole skirt off and move that up and deepen the darts on it.

I wanna see them! I'll bet they're not.

I think of all those ^^^, I'd choose gardener!

I'm kinda packed lol. I have things gathered and this weekend I'll go through and pick outfits for each day and throw in a couple extra long sleeved shirts and jeans for cooler weather.

I've barely started, I have laundry WAY backed up now because the washer and dryer were in my living room all week and I need to pack some things that I ended up wearing. :( BOOOO! So, this weekend I'll be hitting that up hard. I have to shorten the sleeves on a couple of my tops that I'm taking, so when I alter Anara's Alice costume and have the machine out, I can quickly fix those and get them packed.

Your new floors are BEAUTIFUL!

I'm simply in love with them!

Mousekeeping envelopes! gaah, I would have forgotten if you hadn't posted about yours. :scared1:

Glad I could help out! LOL!

Hellloooo! I've been MIA for a while around here...but now I'm back and your trip is so close!!! That is so exciting!! See what happens when you go away and come back lol!! I have to go back and read more about how things have been going for you!! Looking forward to following along again!

WOW!, KATHY, welcome back!! Yes, you've been missed greatly here! I hope everything is ok in your world! How have you been?

I think she just does not have the time... I think something lots of us seem to suffer from!

Yeah, I completely understand. Completely. I am getting WAY more hours at work than I thought I would have, and have been super busy with so many things. I enjoy the extra money that we can finally do some LONG overdue home improvements with, but it does come at a price.

I like the stone! What is it?

It's called "slate". There is an overall grayish/blue coloring, but I chose this one (there are many colors to choose from) because of the pinks and yellows in it. My cabinets are yellow-ish ish being made of pine, and the wallpaper border in my dining room that you can see has some pink in it. The floor really ties is all together. In the next few months, I'll be adding granite countertops, and that will be really tricky to pick out.

LOL! Mine have gotten pretty good as I make approximately 10 beds a day. HAHAHA! (yes, for reals)

How cute!!

:) The makeup and the accessories make the costume a million times better.

I think the only way that picture could be better is if Charlotte had written "Queen Steppe" in the web for you! Sooooo exciting to get that packing started! And that Steampunk Alice costume - you are getting me excited for the Halloween Party, and I don't even particularly like Halloween!

AHHHH, I loved that book as a kid! E.B. White was hands down my favorite author for most of Elementary and Middle school. Stuart Little was a great favorite of mine.

Operation Packing commences THIS WEEKEND! For realz!

So, HUGE relief, the steampunk goggles arrived yesterday! That last piece I was really on pins and needles about! I'll save the rest of the get up so that I have something to write about in my TR. LOL!

Lots of stuff and changes going on over here so haven't been around lately but am trying to remedy that!

PM me if you want to share things. :) I hope they are all very good changes. :hyper2: :chat: :listen:

First and foremost, i'm so glad to hear that there has been an improvement with your Dad. I'm not sure I accidentally skipped over it, but where does he live? Not near you i'm assuming? Praying things continue to get better!

He's doing a lot better! Thanks for asking!

No, not near us. We live in Salem, OR, and they live in Bowling Green Kentucky. WAY too far away.

Alison is the one that sold me on this and it was AMAZING (when I went in 2013 it was with Bailey's Custard)!

OH man! This is one def on my list!

And this was one of my top 3 favs:love:

Looks amazing!

The Gyro from Greece

I may skip this one as we have a fabulous Greek place very near us that we can get fantastic gyros and stuff from.

The Berbere Style Beef from Africa was one of the more memorable ones for me!

I do love African food a lot! My favorite dishes are Yasa and Mafe. So yummy! Our friends who lived in Senegal taught me how to make them both and I still cook these dishes occasionally.

And if by chance you try the ravioli in Italy, it's DEFINITELY shareable. It was MASSIVE!

Oopsies! One more just added to the wish list.

But seriously, if you don't get the noodles with shrimp in China, we may have to stop talking to each other:teeth:

Ok, OKAY!! between you and Alison! I'll get the stup... er, I mean, most delectable, delicious, amazing noodles. ;)

Steampuck Alice for reals?!!? Amazing!

I think you'll approve. I'm kinda jelly of her get up now.

Ha glad i'm not the only one who's thought of keeping those bags! Always thought they could make great use of something, but was never sure what!

Now ya know! Disney Packing!

Beautiful. Er, and slightly creepy since I'm not a fan of spiders:scared:

I did not see this one. But I'm sure his big, fat, hairy body was lurking somewhere nearby.

I wanna see them! I'll bet they're not.

I think of all those ^^^, I'd choose gardener!
My envelopes are just regular boring plain small ones with "For Mousekeeping" written in colored sharpie and a Disney sticker (which we get free in the mail)! Nothing special at all!

My maiden name is Gardner, too bad I'm not.

Are you getting free dining at all? Any type of discount?

I forgot to comment on steampunk Alice! That is too awesome! Especially with goggles! I'm jelly, too!

At least you thought of it, and made something. (Shhh.... don't tell anyone, but my stickers were free in the mail too. ;) )

My maiden name is Gardner, too bad I'm not.

My maiden name is Maycock. I can't say the same thing about my mine.

Are you getting free dining at all? Any type of discount?

Sadly, no. Brook tried and tried for us, but nothing came up for AKL or free dining. There was something at Beach Club Studios, but for $500 MORE than we were already spending. No thanks.

I forgot to comment on steampunk Alice! That is too awesome! Especially with goggles! I'm jelly, too!

It's going to be so amazing! I can't wait to see her in it all done up!

I love that you are re-using the bags for Disney packing. I had a stack of bags that our curtains came in. I used one for coffee stuff (the filter pack coffees and sweetener), another for the 3 in 1 laundry sheets, and another for rain ponchos. Unfortunately they finally died and were replaced with less imaginative ziplock bags.

My Lovelies:

Tonight is one of those nights where I plan to stay up a bit late and just veg out here in my beloved DISLand. Please pay no attention to the fact that dinner is still cooking and my husband just spent WAY too much cash on a stereo system and new/used speakers. I imagine there will be a fair amount of noise going tonight. (No, just stop.)

So, I thought I'd share a bit of DISPlanning with some Dis and Dat about my day. Let's take a peek into the world of Queen Steppe and Her Day, shall we??

Steppe was rudely awakened WAY too early. This made for a massively grumply start, but it was quickly forgotten (and made up for) with breakfast out at a new place to us. Coffee properly infused, things began to look brighter. Or was that the sun who makes a very rare appearance after mid-September around here? Which is significant to some minor drama later...

After a successful breakfast at a new place to us where I had a delicious Mediterranean omelet (and coffee), we toddled off to The Toilet Store. Well, it's actually a hardware store that sells toilets and toilet parts. Which is what we needed on this particular day. Just the parts. We may be hillbillies, but we DO have a toilet. I chose to stay in the car. Which was decidedly the most tragic mistake I've made all week. Maybe all month. Possibly even all year.

This guy comes walking down the street towards the Union Gospel Mission, the homeless place next door to The Toilet Store. He stops and starts to cough. A lot. Like he has TB a lot. He coughed even more, then leaned against the wall. I knew deep down what was coming next, but somehow was frozen. I couldn't take my eyes off of what was about to unfold. As if in slow motion, this poor guy starts to barf in Fountain-of-Nations-amounts. Clearly, he has some serious practice with this, as he actually "broadcast" his sidewalk giftings in large arcs making sure to grace about 20 square feet of prime downtown real estate. The last eruption landed 3 feet from my car. When he was done and saw me gape-mouthed and horror stricken, eyes popping out looking at him, he gave a oopsie grin and continued off to the Mission. It was one of those moments like a car wreck happening before your eyes in slow motion. You, as much as you desperately want to, can NOT drag your face away. My omelet was suddenly not as good as it once was.

The rest of the morning was spent ticking a bunch of packing and trip things off of the long list. It always comes back to MY GRADUATION CELEBRATION TRIP doesn't it? There is not one single day that I don't do something trip-related, no matter how miniscule or huge. Today was a day of scratching off a butt ton (you do know that's a REAL word, right? Look it up.) of little things, but I feel SO much more ready after my day. Because you've stuck it out with me this long, I'll assume you are either nutso, have nothing better to do, or actually care that I bought Q-tips today.

No, no, that's not all Queen Steppe did. Let me give you a literary tour of a few more of the mundane, but extremely important things I accomplished today.

I:

1) Repaired my Graduation Cap that I'll be wearing to at least the FF dinner (possibly more)

2) Bought some clip on sunglasses. Dweeby as it is, I deliberately chose to go that route as the thought of changing out glasses over and over all day long wigs me out. Nope. Ain't gonna do it. Flip 'em up, flip 'em down. Just don't flip 'em off. I was reminded that I really had to take care of this because the sun was so bright I thought I was having laser surgery in my car today.

3) Bought 5 more 2 GB SD Cards. Here's my rationale: I could either buy a storage device AND take my laptop or just switch out cards every other day or so. My laptop has been cast into the Load-of-Dung category, so taking it isn't an option. It won't even close anymore. So, I had to go with option #2- taking my SD cards; that makes me nervous. Just not enough I have 4. With 9 cards over 14 days, I can switch out every other day, or a bit more, and be worry free of losing photos. Of course there is always the very slim chance I could lose the entire case I bought to store all my cards in the other day. But I would have to shoot myself, and it wouldn't matter anyway. So, I went with the extra cards and am hoping that the Card-Eating Gremlin doesn't devour my library in the dead of night.

4) Bought some Q-tips, a glasses repair kit, and some more bandaids.

5) Did all my laundry, BECAUSE TODAY IS ASSEMBLE THE OUTFITS DAY!!!!!

6) Assembled each outfit and came up with 9 combos of capris and tops, shorts and tops, dresses, blah, blah, blah. Everything is paired up and I've decided which bottoms will be worn twice - again with a different top. I then realized I don't have enough capris or shorts, so bought a couple more. Just to be safe. Never can be too safe, right? (OH CRAP, just realized I have to figure out jammies.) My ditty bag is now completely packed too, having received the last additions of the Q-tips, bandaids and Tylenol.

7) The first set of MBs are in the park back, which will be inside my carryon, which is also mostly packed.

8) I looked for our suitcases. And couldn't find them. While I'm aware of Card-Eating Gremlins, I was not aware of the Suitcase-Eating variety. So, I borrowed a large bag from my neighbor and will get one of Bek's this weekend. Which makes 3. (I did find a medium-sized one that will work for one of the kids.) I need a mega-sized one, because I have all the "extras": window decorations, 4 pairs of shoes (Why, no. No one has actually ever told me I'm paranoid.), DISMeet gifties, etc, etc....

9) I made another emergency run to the Toilet Store for an un-anticipated item (why do DYI plumbing projects ALWAYS end up needing more flanges and bolts?), and asked if they were the ones who had to clean up the earlier.... stuff. But, they said they had a better sort of entertainment around 10:00. Some other downtown character tossed a cigarette butt down a storm drain and it roasted some dry leaves in there. The Fire Dept was there for about an hour. Apparently, they have at least 1 or 2 forms of "entertainment" every week.

10) I went to buy the speakers with The Hubs and came home to cook dinner which we finally ate at 8:00. I am now suffering with 4 billion decibles and earplugs.

11) Lastly, I also found out that Cynthia had changed her mind (actually, her son changed his mind) about checking OSU out at this time. I don't blame him, the Beavers suck at 1-2, about as bad as the Blazers every year since 1977. So, I won't be getting to see her tomorrow afterall. I've put it out to her that we'll be taking the Red Eye out of SeaTac on the 9th, and invited her to catch a nightcap with me there. We'll see...

12) Now, The Queen is resigned to not moving one inch from this perch until bed. She is tired and not really packed yet, but completely satisfied with her day.

Tomorrow will be the day, in which Queen Steppe finally actually packs and gets to take a nap. Be jealous. Very jealous.

I may put up a FB status asking for more. I LOVE them!!! I packed my coffee last trip, but think I'll forego it this time. Now that there are some Joffreys and $ixbucks I'll just get my morning cups there.

And I'm not ashamed to admit I also have several things already packed in ziplocks: my pre-measured laundry soap, the ponchos, and my undies. :)

I'm gonna comment here, now and on the fly, because I'm not sure when I'm going to get the chance again. Despite better judgement, I spent all day at the park (part of the time with Magdalene's BF Michael, who wanted me to be sure to mention how forlorn he was without her there, as we stepped onto Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy) and then riding ToT with another DISer and her family. Not to mention enjoying a few good meals and watering holes (to avoid the burning sun, of course!). I'm going to be spending the next few days making up for this, so I'll do my best to comment, after those Martini, Cosmos and Shrunken Zombie head drinks!

You are so darned organized its crazy! I can't believe you have stuff already packed! I am just starting to try and finalize my wardrobe, but me on the other hand will probably only wear one pair of capris, and bring two more, plus two skirts and two dresses. Since we have a washer in the room, I try to err on the side of less clothes rather than more. I try to only do laundry once during the trip, but last trip I ended up doing two loads or maybe more since undies and other whites need their own. I may plan to pack more undies!

I can't imagine not bringing the computer, but then again as landlords we need to have all our resources at our disposal. One time when staying at Kidani we came back to the room and received a Voice Mail from a tenant that she came home to her toilet valve spraying water at the ceiling. She ended up being out of the apartment for two months and we had to do a complete rebuild of her bathroom shower because when they got in there there was wet rot. That was a total nightmare! Since then I never travel without my computer!

My Big camera has a 256GB memory card and my P&S has a 64 GB Memory card. I have vacations from years ago still on there that I haven't deleted!

I'm sorry you had to ruin your breakfast witnessing the homeless guy. That's too bad that Cynthia changed her mind, she is one cool lady!

OK that's about all I can remember and comment on. Time to go to bed. Tomorrow is a day to do stuff and not sit around writing TRs and playing on the DIS. unless Fran falls asleep in her chair and isn't going to help me with anything. Then I will alternate with doing something on the house, doing something on the DIS. Etc.

My omelet was suddenly not as good as it once was.
My omelet would have joined his modern sidewalk art!

It always comes back to MY GRADUATION CELEBRATION TRIP
as it should

Today was a day of scratching off a butt ton (you do know that's a REAL word, right? Look it up.) of little things,
A ton of butt is a whole lot to scratch.14 to be exact. .. You have any butt left?

1) Repaired my Graduation Cap that I'll be wearing to at least the FF dinner (possibly more)
did you add little round ears? No? Then you didn't quite fix it right!

Just not enough I have 4. With 9 cards over 14 days, I can switch out every other day, or a bit more, and be worry free of losing photos.
put them in a small plastic bag inside your park bag in the exact same spot EVERY time. Also do the same in your suit case for your spares. I am terrible with these and this was the only thing that keeps me from losing them

BECAUSE TODAY IS ASSEMBLE THE OUTFITS DAY!!!!!
 :wizard:pirate::crazy::jester::firefight:clown::santa::hippie::butterfly?I
The first set of MBs are in the park back, which will be inside my carryon, which is also mostly packed.
make sure its the right set of bands at least 12 times!

I looked for our suitcases. And couldn't find them. While I'm aware of Card-Eating Gremlins, I was not aware of the Suitcase-Eating variety
they are called Children... Surprised you, of all people, haven't heard of that kind of Gremlin.

nice neighbor.

When I was a McD's restaurant manager, one year, the landscaping company put out wood mulch (we usually had them put stone out instead of mulch) in the flower beds under and surrounding the drive thru menu board and speaker... You can see where this is going right?
Now, The Queen is resigned to not moving one inch from this perch until bed.
please... If the butt or bladder strikes... Move an inch or two or 3....for the sake of family.

Tomorrow will be the day, in which Queen Steppe finally actually packs and gets to take a nap. Be jealous. Very jealous.
nap. zzzzz... zzzzz so so jealous. Meds have me so messed up again I am borderline insomniac right now. Slept 1 hour Friday night and 2 hours last night. Tried to take a super long nap this morning ....yeah, no. 45 minutes. Woke up and can't get back to sleep.

Ahhh, poor Michael. LOL! And by the looks of your little green light, I think you've had a bit of free time. Did Fran fall asleep in her chair? :lmao: Oh, who am I do second guess your, in my opinion, very legit excuse(s) to beat the heat? I mean, who wants to get burned or risk heat stroke? :rotfl2:And all strange comments for the next few days will get a pass. :thumbsup2

You are so darned organized its crazy! I can't believe you have stuff already packed! Each day's outfit is going to go into a Ziplock with the date on it, so I can grab, dress and go. No time spent "figuring it out". It's actually not packed yet- well, the carryon and park bag is , but not the suitcase as I had a momentary laspe of wardrobe confidence yesterday. After getting everything out that I wanted to take, I felt like I was really short in the bottoms and sundress area, so I shopped online at Kohls and got 2 more capris, 1 more shorts, and a sundress and 2 tops. Now, when they arrive on Tuesday, I'll have EVERYTHING I need and will actually pack it all. For realz. I had to remember that I will still have 4 more days without ANY laundry facilities so need to pack for the Keys as well.

I can't imagine not bringing the computer, but then again as landlords we need to have all our resources at our disposal. One time when staying at Kidani we came back to the room and received a Voice Mail from a tenant that she came home to her toilet valve spraying water at the ceiling. Since then I never travel without my computer!

Yea, I can totally see why you'd need to bring yours. Mine simply won't close- so I don't have one to bring. What a horrible nightmare for sure! I'm sure getting to it later ended up costing you a bit more money.

My Big camera has a 256GB memory card and my P&S has a 64 GB Memory card. I have vacations from years ago still on there that I haven't deleted!

I thought mine had internal memory, but doesn't. At least I don't know how to access it. ? I format my cards after almost every photo shoot, so I start with a clean slate.

That's too bad that Cynthia changed her mind, she is one cool lady!

She sure is! Still a small chance I could see her, but waiting for word from her.

Tomorrow is a day to do stuff and not sit around writing TRs and playing on the DIS. unless Fran falls asleep in her chair and isn't going to help me with anything. Then I will alternate with doing something on the house, doing something on the DIS. Etc.

:lmao: Well, that sure didn't pan out. :lmao:

A ton of butt is a whole lot to scratch.14 to be exact. .. You have any butt left?

OH more than plenty, let me assure you.

did you add little round ears? No? Then you didn't quite fix it right!

I sadly did not. But I could... Hmm....

put them in a small plastic bag inside your park bag in the exact same spot EVERY time. Also do the same in your suit case for your spares. I am terrible with these and this was the only thing that keeps me from losing them

Oh, good idea! Although I bought a 12 SD card holder and that will now go into my camera bag. So only one at a time will be "out and about" with the camera. The rest will stay in the room.

 :wizard:pirate::crazy::jester::firefight:clown::santa::hippie::butterfly

You get the "Most Creative Use of Smilies" Award! :thumbsup2

make sure its the right set of bands at least 12 times!

Well, since I only have 1 set thusfar...

they are called Children... Surprised you, of all people, haven't heard of that kind of Gremlin.

Mine are called "The Not Me" Ghosts around her.

When I was a McD's restaurant manager, one year, the landscaping company put out wood mulch (we usually had them put stone out instead of mulch) in the flower beds under and surrounding the drive thru menu board and speaker... You can see where this is going right?

HAHA! Yeah I saw that coming! Hilarious!

please... If the butt or bladder strikes... Move an inch or two or 3....for the sake of family.

So, The Hubs didn't get the toilet quite back on yet. The bolts that hold the tank on broke as they moved it from outside, so the one that would require the least amount of moving isn't operational. I just went to bed when the matter came up.

morning ....yeah, no. 45 minutes. Woke up and can't get back to sleep.

That's terrible! It's so hard to function (or not) on so little sleep. So sorry, cuz that's really sucky!

I am going to concentrate on picturing your look of horror - and giggling...

I had hoped it would leave a few giggles behind me. ;)

So smart. I ordered Transitions lenses for my last trip; however they were en route to my house as I was en route to Florida, so I was the changey glasses girl once again.

I have some Disney/Mickey nail stickers that say they won't arrive until afterwards now. So, I had to order some more/different ones that were sure to get here in time for my pedi appt next week. Silly shipping time.

Hmph. They look the same as the card eating variety!

Pesky little things!!!

And by the looks of your little green light, I think you've had a bit of free time. Did Fran fall asleep in her chair? :lmao:

Not sure if you meant today or last night. I've been on and off with my phone, but only had a few moments to put up the update on my other report while we were taking a short break from going through all our Disney purchases and mail and such. We were trying to dig out the foyer. Then we had to go out for silly things like cat food, more artwork and storage bins.

Oh, who am I do second guess your, in my opinion, very legit excuse(s) to beat the heat? I mean, who wants to get burned or risk heat stroke? :rotfl2:And all strange comments for the next few days will get a pass. :thumbsup2

Of course we needed to beat the heat with cool beverages! It just happened that a lot of them turned out to be of the adult variety! :lmao:

 Wow! That is organized! I normally pick out outfits for my fancy nights and special events, but every day clothes I pick things that will mix and match and then go with what I feel that day. By the end of the trip, I've mixed and matched so much I'm trying to find a combination that I haven't already been seen in pictures.

I'm sure getting to it later ended up costing you a bit more money.

Actually with the time difference, We were able to go to the park from 9AM to noon, come back and find a company to go in with blowers and start drying out the place at 9AM CA time. In the end they had to rip out the floors and the whole sub floor, and joists of the bathroom as it had been rotting for years, unbeknownst to us. It was a nice little $15K repair that we weren't expecting. :faint:

:lmao: Well, that sure didn't pan out. :lmao:

No she woke up and got out of bed when I did, and was roaring to clear the packages and Disney loot from the foyer.
