Really bad arthritis/knees, how easy to get out of Frozen boat?

Hi. I've stopped riding Small World and the Mexico ride because of difficulty getting out of the boats. I don't have enough strength to climb up and out. Is the Frozen boat the same, a high climb? If its more than the height of one step, I can't do it. Just wondering if anyone has that same issue?

I tried to climb out of the Frozen boat an hour ago. My husband says that, unfortunately, you'd probably have trouble there too. How's Pirates for you? I'll admit that I have weak knees and Frozen was no easier for me than Pirates would be.

It is a big step. Similar to the rides you mentioned having trouble on. Are you able to step up onto the seat and then boast your way out that way or have a travel companion help support you?

not sure if this will help you but I have had trouble on all of the rides mentioned in August was the first time going since I started using a cane and found it a lot easier than any other trip and I rode all of boats only ride I found I could not do was Space Mountain as I could not get up. had the best trip in years getting in and out of rides even helped with the moving ramps

Hi. Do you mean the cane helped? I have a folding one so maybe that's a good option. I don't find I need it just walking, but it could be good for a boost. Thanks.

I have bad knees and I did struggle a bit getting out of the boat, really all of the boat ride vehicles.

MY mom has step up issues. We were there last week. We just told them she was going to need time getting out. She took her time and I sort of pushed up on her rump. Don't feel like you have to rush and enjoy the ride!

I have the folding one also. used it to steady me so I can balance and climb out

Just went on the ride last week and all I can say was I am glad I had both my dh and adult ds to help me in and out of the boat. It was ds idea to go on this and I posted too about my concerns.

The ride broke down before we got on it but ds insisted we wait. After the ride was over I thought, I did all this and I didnt even enjoy the ride. I miss Malestrom.

I have balance issues and long legs and a short body. We were in the last row of the boat and my knees were jammed up against the hard plastic the whole time.

It was really not an enjoyable experience

I am in the camp now of one and done.

For It's A Small World. You can request the wheelchair boat to make it easier. I'm going to do it because my knees, and back are both bad, and I'm only 35. But, my back has been bad since I was 19 because my bones were deteriorating at the time. Plus I just don't have good balance to step down into the boats anymore. I'll also be using a power chair, so it'll be easier to get on with it.

They do have a slide thing (like Kali ?). They offered it to use in September, however we do a slow two man lift for DS20. We could not figure out if it would be an advantage for us, as my son does not stand independently. It is a bit harder than Pirates or Splash.
