Hi my friends,
We're in Dlrp just now, well at the moment in our room at Sequoia Lodge as pretty shattered after a busy day but anyway we're having a great time.
Weather is cold but gorgeous, the park is pretty busy, more than i expected it to be have to say but tje atmosphere is great even though the refurbishments going around are putting it down a bit...
See you when we're back

We have just left and whilst queuing to see Jessie yesterday i saw the train moving on the track. the cm said there maybe a soft opening today. the screens came down a few days ago and it does look impressive.

That would be fantastic, as arriving tomorrow.

Do they advertise soft openings around the park, or is it just a case of being in the right place at the right time?

I'm not sure to be honest.
I think cast members get snippets of info and if you chat to them then they may tell u things.
On Tuesday thunder mess landing had the walls up and the queue for it was being used for Jack Skillington meet and greet. by Thursday the walls had come down and the boat was there but not open to the public. then there was smoke and noise coming from thunder mountain and as we were waiting for Jessie a train came rolling out on the track.

One question, have u booked meals as the restaurants were very busy and people were queuing up at half 9 with children trying to get into restaurants!

Today the boat was there but not going, we could hear noises coming from BTM but saw nothing...no soft opening for us...shame...
