We are leaving for the world on Sunday morning. My daughter and I are both recovering from leg injuries. She has the benefit of a stroller, but sadly I do not. Am wondering if I want to take a break, would I be able to get an ice pack at a first aid startion and ice my knee for a while?

Yes and you can lie down for a bit they do try to keep it quiet but some times it is not,

they also have some OTC meds

Absolutely! They'll have you sign in and make sure if you weren't hurt in the park (legal issues and all), then they'll get you what you need. Ice, Motrin/Tylenol, ace wraps, and most importantly a nice place to take a break without the whirlwind of Disney whispering "keep moving, ignore the pain" at you.

If your knee really really starts to bother you, don't hesitate to rent a scooter. Assuming you don't need to push your DD's stroller of course.

Bring a few ziploc baggies with you, and you can get ice at Quick Service restaurants. Then you don't have to go across the park to first aid.

I've gotten ice packs from wdw and dl before and they haven't done anything legal other than have me out my name down when I've asked for an ibuprofen

Even the time at Disneyland when DS was hurt on a ride (the Mater ride before they padded the sides) there was no legal thing. Just the name.

I was hurt on BTMRR and ( they did call paramedic for me) I had to go to first aid to lie down all the nurse asked was where the pain was and she checked to see how I was doing. the nurse were more concerned when I went into first aid and my BG dropped to 30 then they were this time but the time I was hurt was the same as when I went in other time I go in ( and I go in enough half of them know me by name) yes you will put your name down either coming or going ( most of the time coming)

You sign your name, they'll make notes (likely unknown to you) that a x time you came in with y complaint and were given z, should you try to make a ridiculous claim/lawsuit down the road.
