I would LOVE to visit the spa with my husband but he cannot bare to be touched  is there's a sort of day spa access fee he could pay so that he could join me in the gardens without having a treatment?

Not any longer. There used to be such a pass but it was discontinued. We asked about this in May 2016, not sure when it got discontinued.

Ah that's a shame. Was hoping to do it on our wedding anniversary. Thank you for your help! Xx

I have not had one myself, but I heard a review from Julie Martin on the podcast and she mentioned a vitality bath - check out the Aulani service menu here: https://resorts.disney.go.com/media...ing-updated-october-13th-2016-for-laniwai.pdf looks like they are still being offered. I would imagine there is no touching with a bath, but you could always call ahead and confirm. He might enjoy a private soak while you have your treatment and then you can both enjoy the other spa amenities.

Thank you sooooo much! Going to investigate this now! Xxxx

I could be wrong but aren't the vitality baths just the baths available in the hydrotherapy gardens, which are included with any service? It looks like they are charging $100 to go there alone, which would be steep, especially for 30 minutes. Anyone know if the vitality bath includes something else?

It's not the gardens. I believe it is the plunge type pool in the opening to the courtyard from the spa itself. It's semi private. I saw a bath being set up there the last time I was there and it had a reserved for a service sign and had been drained and was being refilled.

What I heard was a review from the Dis Unplugged podcast from just after Aulani opened - Julie had a vitality bath and described what was in it. It was definitely a private bath, not just the vitality baths in the hydrotherapy garden. I am not sure if this link will come through but I will try it here: https://www.mousesavers.com/wp-content/uploads/Laniwai_Brochure.pdf. If you are interested in her review you can go here and scroll down to November 9, 2011: http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-podcast/archives-2011.htm

Anyway from either link it appears there are a few choices of different baths. Basically it looks to me like a really fancy bath bomb for $100 but regardless of my opinion of the value of that service, it looks like it might still be offered since it's still coming up on the price "menu" on the current Aulani spa website.
