Tagging along on business trip, worth DLP one day?

Hi! we recently moved to the Netherlands from the US, and have warned my husband that there WILL be a DLP trip planned amongst all the travel. :) He just told me he has a business trip in Paris the first weekend in March, and we are tagging along. Saturday and most of Sunday he will be busy, so would it be feasible to go to DLP for a day trip with my 5 yr old? He is kinda annoyed about me wanting to go, our favorite thing is just walking around Paris but she's 5, there are only so many museums and landmarks she is going to enjoy. We are still planning a trip later in the year, to Paris and DLP.

What would be a good strategy? We've learned she loves the character interactions more than anything else, so I am willing to be low key. No coasters for her, or me, either.

I know this is not much help given what you've posted, but I'd recommend you try to avoid the weekends - the parks at DLP get way busier with locals to an extent that you wouldn't normally see at WDW and if you've only got one day, you're going to be queuing for everything.

I only have one day this trip, still planning our 'official' trip for this year, and now debating an annual pass. Thank you!

A day trip is definitely feasible and you can use the time to plan your official trip for later in the year - you may not get much done but choose a couple of rides you really want to do and use the time to wander round and enjoy the little things in the park

This may not be the best comparison, but my husband and I finally went to DLP as a daytrip in the fall of 2016, after many previous trips to Paris. We found if to be extremely manageable. We also skipped the coasters, but went on Ratatouille and TOT. We didn't have any issues seeing everything we wanted to see. They had the "old" fast pass system in place, but because the crowds were so low, we would have been fine without it. There seemed to be plenty of characters around, and the lines didn't look bad for them either that day.
