Is the Express Bus Service park-to-park just a trial?

Early planning for our 2018 trip and wondering if the Express Bus Service is just a trial or if Disney has announced it as permanent (which still means they could cancel it I know).
 
I don't think anyone knows for sure. Just have to wait and see.
 
All depends if they make $$$ on it or not. If they make $$$ it will stay if it doesn't it won't stay.
