We got one of these too when we did in room dining for breakfast. So adorable! I wanted to keep it but I ended up using it and thought it would be silly if I took home half a bottle of teeny tiny Tabasco. Glad I'm not alone!

BOG looks delicious, salty fries and all. Poor Josh, I am sure that is devastating when you think you got a GF meal and end up sick all day from contamination. The pork chop does look excellent though! You and @ArielSRL are definitely making me think I am missing out, having never tried that strawberry cupcake. Might have to start looking for a BOG lunch soon. I think it's my favorite meal there after having tried all three!

That strawberry cupcake (to me) is one of the best on property. Only compares to the seasonal pink lemonade at Starring Rolls. However, I admit, I haven't had nearly enough different ones to make a true comparison....so I'll be adding to my research in June...lol. I'm hitting up Contempo Cafe, along with a few other places! :)

Yes we need more cupcake research! :thumbsup2

Brown Derby sounds like it was a mixed bag for you guys. I can't believe your burger was bad! It's one of the best I've ever had but mine was cooked perfectly. I do love that Cobb salad and if you make a meal of it HBD can be a good value for a nice relaxing meal. Thanks for all your reviews! It was fun to read along!!!

I was disappointed about the burger, but the rest of the meal was good and Josh loved his meal. The Cobb salad is so good! I might go to the lounge and order it next time. Thanks for reading along!

Just read through your complete report, and I just want to clarify that our BF got gluten free Mickey Waffles? And Pizza?? If so, that is amazing!

Looks like a fairly decent meal to finish out the trip and free champs to boot!

I've been to HBD once but it's been awhile so I don't really remember much about it.

Great report...thanks for sharing! Looking forward to the next one...which should come right about time for me to be getting ready for my trip! 119 days!

Yes! And thank you for reading! 89 days till we're back!

We went to Trader's Sam's on our last trip too. It was one of my favorite parts of our trip! The food and drinks were sooo good! It's too bad that you weren't there in October though, because we got really lucky and were able to get the special edition hitchhiking ghosts tiki mug.

Ahh! That mug looked so awesome!

The frittata wasn't that good, but everything else was. When I was toasting the bagel up at the buffet it took forever and didn't toast all the way through. When I went to put cream cheese on it I guess a lady nearby was waiting for the cream cheese. It didn't take me long to use it, but she kept sighing heavily while staring at it the whole time like I was taking forever :rotfl2:
See, I'm the type of person that would have taken longer at that point. Childish? Maybe, but stuff like that annoys me when people act like they are the only ones that want/need to use something...

I should've! Sorry lady, I have to make sure my bagel is perfectly covered with cream cheese this is going to take awhile :rotfl:

I have a wheat allergy as well and have to eat gluten free. Did you try any of the gluten free breads or GF substitutes? if not, did your BF comment on how they tasted? As you probably know, sometimes items like bread or pizza crust taste like cardboard (if you have ever tried cardboard :)).

As a side-note, I have been very disappointed in GF breads that we can get here in the US. Europe is so far ahead of us in this category. When we moved to Orlando, I decided to try a new GF bread I found in the store. The typical mass produced breads are really horrible! The stores around here all carry a bread called 'Three Bakers' (certified GF). It should be readily available in most states. It's made in Pennsylvania. It's not dry and I had to ask my wife if it was gluten bread when she made me a sandwich. The taste was better than any GF bread I have tried in the US.

I think the only one I tried was at Universal's Mythos and their GF bread was better than the non GF bread! Josh seems to like the breads/buns he gets at Disney. He'll only complain if one falls apart.

He doesn't eat GF bread a lot at home, but the one in the markets around here is Udi I think. He does think the slices are too small though, you can buy regular size bread but it's twice the price. We've experimented with a lot of pizza crusts too and I know he has some frozen pizzas and pizza places he likes. He does like the pizza at the resort QS too.
I will have to agree with your BF on resort QS pizza it as really good! I also LOVED the Caprese flatbread pizza at Pinocchio Village Haus! The kids and my DH loved their non Gf flatbread pizza too! We sat by the window that looks down on the Small World ride and the kids loved how everyone kept waving up at them.:teeth:
