Park Merch - Not in Park

Hi all,

Will be going to Paris for a very, very brief stretch (1.5 days) next month and I (sadly) have no time for DLP.

However, I would still like to pick up something (shirt, magnet, whatever) that is DLP park specific. Are there any stores in Paris that sell official merch from the park?

Cheers

I have been to the Disney Store at Champs ELysee and I don't recall them having anything DLP specific, but it's always worth having a look. If you don't have the time to go into the parks, but are willing to take the RER (local train, roughly 12 euro's return) to Disneyland Paris then you can visit their shopping center which doesn't require an entrance fee. It has the largest Disney Store in the world called World of Disney, a regular Disney Store, a Princess Store and countless other stores with DLP merchandise. The stores are always open from roughly 8/10AM till 10PM

Thanks for the info!

10101, thanks for the tip about the shopping centre. I may be able to squeeze that in if they're open late enough on a Sunday evening. I thought there might be a Downtown Disney/Disney Springs area there, but was not sure.

The area itself is called Disney Village, you can even do a character meal at the Café Mickey there without having a park ticket. (Reservation is required), the Disney Hotel also has a great character brunch on the weekends, though quite expensive. People like the brunch because is has more rare characters. No park-ticket required either.

I did a quick check for you. World of Disney is opening till 0:00, Disney Store (at Village) till 23:00.

Thank you for that - I tried searching the DLP website for closing times but I could only find opening times.

My fiancée and I would likely go in the evening. Unfortunately do not believe we would be able to eat at Café Mickey as we intend to do dinner with friends in Paris before heading to DLP. We would maybe have 2-3 hours maximum to explore.

I would assume that the RER from Marne la Vallée would still be running into Paris this late in the evening (0:00) for us to make our way back into the city?

I think so yes, let me link you to the official RER website so that you can check the travel times. They also have an app, but in general they run every 20-30 minutes during the less crowded times. http://www.ratp.fr/en/ratp/c_5001/menu-principal/

That is great - the website is a large help. It seems the trains run to about 0:40. So I feel as long as we leave by 23:00 we should have no worries in getting back to central Paris.

they have open a shop at the airport as well last year, so this could be really good option for you... if its not at your terminal just check in eraier so you have time to visit it before going for you flight, assuming you are coming by plane xx

Thank you! This will be great in case we aren't able to make it to Disney Village!

I have taken the 23:00 quite a few times, all the way to the western part of Paris, so you should be fine there. :)

We were in DLP last July and I purchased the most adorable Minnie espresso mug from the Mornings Collection. Now that I'm back in Canada I want to buy more of them but cannot find them anywhere online. Any ideas?
Thank you!

How is the walk from RER A at Châtelet Les Halles to Line 4 (Les Halles)? We would need to get to Gare de l'Est (which is nearest our hotel). I think my routing is correct.

I understand that the terminals at Châtelet Les Halles are connected via underground walkways to the Les Halles Métro station. Is that correct?

I'm a vigilant person and used to city life, but my other half not so much so and she has concerns with the transfer so late at night. I guess we would stick out with our big disney bags from all the merch I plan to get. It would be a Sunday night, if that matters at all.

It has the largest Disney Store in the world called World of Disney

It's probably the largest in Europe, but the World of Disney in Orlando is probably 3 or 4 times bigger.
If you've been to Disney Springs in Orlando or Downtown Disney at DLR in the past, keep your expectations low, the Disney Village is a small and not really exciting.
But I could suggest to have a stoll around the lake and maybe go into one of the hotel for a drink. While the Disney Village is nothing special, the resort is really nice and the hotels have a good atmosphere.
