Pin Code offer, but no unique pin

I received an email today with an offer for up to 30% off this summer, but there is no 8-digit pin anywhere in the email. I think I'm doing something wrong...anyone else have this problem
 
I often get advertising mail from Disney Destinations. It is always just the general public offers. My DH on the other hand gets EVERY SINGLE PIN offer that is out. They come to his email. He has never once booked a trip....he just tags along on some of my trips.​
 


You are doing nothing wrong. It just an advertising mailing. Anyone can get that offer without a pin when they book.
 
The "Advertising" email sent out yesterday was apparently a Pin code offer (minus the actual Pin code). Others have reported getting more availability with the code attached to their name. If you have a trip you're planning during the offer time frame, call and check it out. See the thread mentioned above for more details.
 
I got it too, but I think my current deal is likely a better deal. No actual PIN in the email as others have said.

No, actually this email was an exclusive offer specific to the PIN code. Disney forgot to include the code in the email. They send these out from time to time. The code can only be used by the account it is sent to.
 
I got the same email with PIN Code email offer but with no code. I just rec'd another email moments ago but this time with the PIN Code included. So, stand by - I'm sure everyone will get the same updated email.
 
My wife got another email with a valid code attached this time. I already have a better deal, and no rooms for the resort/dates that we want.
 
I also got the corrected email, but my current deal is better. Still nice to have it correct so I can play around though. I think kiddo would be very upset if I switched resorts at this point, he is very excited about the pool at Yacht Club. I almost think I could have just gotten a ticket for Animal Kingdom and let him play at the pool all day... oh well! I want to see the parks ;)
 
I also had the same two emails... I thought I was home free when the update arrived, but now it is telling me my postal code doesn't match what they have on file... lol!

I've tried with and without the space. I've tried my former postal code even though I knew my most recent trip was taken from my current address. I checked my info on my MDE and it matches what I've been entering, so I guess I'll just call tomorrow. Never a dull moment... ;)

I have had the same error several times in the past. If you call and give them the PIN it can be booked and discount applied

Has anyone ever gotten the benefit of a pin code?
I have received easily 8 codes since booking our last trip approx 18 months ago and none of them have provided anything more than what is currently available by booking through the website with no account etc

A couple of times with code I have spent too long trying to find a "benefit" but nothing was obvious
Upon checking out multiple permutations I found that the discount on offer was the same as those available to guests returning & new on the special offers page

Am I missing something or is the doing exactly as intended and merely driving me to the website with the promise of something special just for me
