*** May 2017 Disneyland Check-In ***

We'll be there May 25-29! Hope Indy is back up by then for DH, and Fantasmic is back for me!

I wish. I'm so sad! It's showing on their calendar that it's down beginning May 1. I called and the person I spoke with looked it up and said it's until May26. I hope there's a chance she's wrong but we'll be there starting May 7 so doubt it will be down for just a week.

Totally bummed about this - it's our first DL visit! But I'm glad I found out now. Thanks to you all for posting.

After tomorrow, all the hours for my trip will be posted. I'm happy so far! 8am-11pm (with fireworks) on sunday. 9am-10pm on monday. It'll work out really well that the first day has the longer hours before we run out of energy for the following days! It is still saying that MSEP will run at 10:30 even though the park closes at 10.

We arrive on Saturday the 6th, and the original plan was to go to rainforest cafe for dinner (non park day) but luckily it will be closed by the time we land in Long Beach....I was not looking forward to eating there. I've never heard anything good about it. Over priced for sub-par food. Our group wanted to, so I was out voted. Now we are hoping to go to tangaroa terrace. I am much happier with that idea!! I would love to go to jazz kitchen, but half the group doesn't like that kind of food. I swear I need a solo trip just so I can disney the way I want to disney lol!

Want to know a secret? ....I have never been to DTD. Lol! I have always stayed on the harbor side and going through security multiple times just never seemed worth losing park time. I'm looking forward to the travel day being a non park day so I can go for the first time! I know that the security has now moved to other side, so maybe from now on I'll pop into DTD. I can't wait to see the DLH! It's so odd to me that I've never been to any of that.

We aren't making any ADR's. Sadly. I feel like I can't pass up Carnation and Cafe Orleans...but oh well! We are trying to make this a budget trip, so it will be mostly snacks from home and counter service. ....and all the food carts...

We are looking forward to Frozen. I haven't seen it yet. Also, I am excited to share Map with the first timers! I just love that show.

April is going to fly by! 40 days!!!

HI! We miss each other by a week again!

This time around I waited until someone else created the check-in thread...keeping up with the giant october list was a lot of work :rotfl:

I see you are going again at Halloweentime! I'm jealous...it was so much fun!!!

Hi everyone. I need some advice. Our park days are Sunday May 28, Monday May 29 (Memorial Day), Tuesday May 30 (Grad night) and Wednesday May 31 (Grad night). We want to do the World of Color Dessert Party. Any thoughts on the best night or nights to avoid would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Can you all believe it's almost time of our trips! so exciting to see the May times going up. We've exchanged our money, picked up our travel documents, booked my DD8 into Anna and Elsa for her 'princess day'! If I've missed anyone's name or spelt them incorrectly, please let me know. I don't check the post very often and it's a bit hard catching up. I'll be more diligent as we get closer.

I'm with you. This is our first trip. We've been to WDW a few times and was really looking forward to Indiana Jones in 'Land ' :( I was already bummed that the railroad wasn't going to be up and now this. We can only hope that nothing else goes down for our trips :)

Hi guys. I'm going to be in Disneyland for Tinkerbell race weekend. I'll be running the pixiedust challenge. Very excited. I was there 2 years ago for my first DLR visit and this will be my first Run Disney race. I live in Ireland and Disneyland Paris is my "home" Disney park.
