We are on this cruise as well. DH, DS (25) and myself. We did this same cruise in 2014 and are very excited to go back. Last time we flew in the day of departure which was a mistake as we were very tired and it was unseasonably hot (104 degrees in Florence). This time we are flying in on Wednesday night and staying for 2 nights at the Hotel Colon which is where we stayed one night post cruise last time.

We will arrange for Barcelona Day Tours to pick us up at the airport and take us to Montserrat then the hotel. On Thursday I think that we will take a day trip to Costa Brava and Girona. Last trip we had Barcelona Day tours pick us up at the ship and we did a 1/2 day tour of Barcelona. That evening we took a food tour of the gothic quarter with Barcelona Taste. I highly recommend both companies.

Last trip we did all Disney excursions and will do all but Villefrance with Disney again. We are going to do the 4x4 Vesuvius hike, wine tasting and Pompei, St. Peter's and the Sistine Chapel, and Florence on your own. These are all pretty much repeat excursions except that we didn't go to Vesuvius or see the Sistine chapel last time. We also went on the Eze and Nice wine tasting excursion last time.

We will also be on this Cruise, Sept 9 departure and will also be staying at Hotel Colon Sept 8. We've booked Barcelona Day Tours to pick us up at airport with 1/2 day with tour. Hopeing to do La Familia Sagrada on our own the morning prior to cruise. We will also have Barcelona Day Tours pick us up last day with a full day tour to Montserrat, as long as they get enough participants for a shared excursion. We are planning on doing our tours through Disney being this is our first trip to Europe. I'm just a little concerned that we won't get the tours we want because this is our first Disney Cruise and we'll be the last group to book. But we are so excited and really looking forward to this cruise!!

Get tickets online beforehand for a chosen time so you arent waiting in line the morning before the cruise. I believe they only put them online a couple months beforehand. We are buying ours online for the Sagrada Familia tour just so we wont need to wait in line

DH husband and I booked this cruise today! I'm super excited! I'm not sure of our pre or post cruise plans yet, but I'm not traveling all the way to Europe without trying to do something else!

Oh boy do I have questions!

We've been signed up for this cruise for forever but i've just now got the time to actually think about the planning of it. There are 5 of us, all adults. This is my 23rd Disney cruise, my husband's 20th?, and our friends are all platinum as well. We're doing the WBTA, also, when we'll be joined by three more people. We've done 3 or 4 WBTA's together before.

I have a mobility issue, so a lot of concerns about keeping up with tour groups. Has anyone done "Rome on your own"? OR taken the train to Rome? IF so, I would like to hear from you! We want to get tickets in advance for the Vatican, so I won't have to stand so long. . . your advice will be greatly appreciated!

Hello! I don't know of any fish extender exchanges set up on here. However, I know that there is one if you find the cruise group on a popular social media site that I know I'm not supposed to mention by name....

I don't think that you got the right one then. You are going this year right? The cruise group on there for the September 9-16th is super active and definitely has a fish extender group.

My wife and I are on this cruise and might be interested. We have an excursion booked for a Rome, but looking into Florence or Naples.

HI, 2 adults. Interested in doing Amalfi coast from Naples and somewhere from Livorno (San Gigmignanao, Siena, Cinque Terre?)
