fastpass questions

Can someone please explain how fast passes are working at DL and DCA right now. Last time I was there they were all paper. I read somewhere that you can get fast passes with the photos purchase, is that true? Where is the best place to to get the most current information? Thanks

Nothing firm has been announced. Rumor is something will happen soon, possibly as soon as 6/1.

Paper FP will still be in place. Proposed plan (MaxPass) will be $10/ticket/day and will include same day electronic FP and Photopass.

Also, the parks are linked now so you cannot get a FP during the same time for both parks.

It was nice, but man it required some serious walking. (We did it once for Splash Mountain and ToT ... file that under what were we thinking!)

Since the two parks are linked now does that mean you can't pull a FP until the time is up in the other park? For example if I have a FP for Space at 9am, can I pull a RSR at 10?

That's correct. The parks are sort of like one big single park for FP purposes now.

You can pull a new pass once your FP return time starts. So you can get a RSR at 9am.

I think the question is a little confusing. If by "if I have a FP for Space at 9am" you mean you pulled it at 9 am, then chances are the return time won't be until after 10 am so you would not be able to pull RSR until that time. If you mean your FP return time for Space is 9 am, then yes, you can get a RSR at 10.

You just need to wait until your FP return time starts for the last FP you pulled before you get another one ... or until 2 hours past the time you pulled it, whichever comes first, no matter which park it's in.
