Hi All! Can one person be on two separate reservations? She will only be the primary on one of the reservations. Is it better to not make her a primary on either reservation? My only thing is I will be leaving about 3 before the rest of the family so i'd prefer to make her the primary on one of the rooms.

Where it matters is with My Disney Experience. If you have two people listed the same on two reservations, it will cause problems. If the same person must be on both reservations, you should use a middle name or a nickname to make them different in some way.

In the past, we have had problems with split stays for this same reason. The same people are listed on two reservations. If you don't get checked out of the first room, you will have problems with the check-in for the second room. The same person cannot be checked into two rooms at the same time.

Yes Thank You! I thought I remember reading something about the same name on two reservations being a problem. Ok I think I'll tell my sister to make a new name since she's only staying one day with them. Thanks again!!

Adding onto this... in an instance like this (where you have the same person on different reservations under different/similar names) how does this work with magic bands?

Do they need a different band for each resort?
