The front cab gets all the attention: motor, lights, sound... it's time to show the rear cab some love too! How about proper warning lights and beacon?

and how about a good audio system, including the often-requested "por favor..." message?

Love your work and videos. I caught the bug finally and received my 3rd train a few weeks ago (I have the blue, red, and yellow now). I wish I knew half of what you do to try some of the modifications you do. :-D

Flayre, thanks for the kind (and flattering) words! :) I have a long background of electrical engineering to help with my designs but even so much of what I do is driven by just trying over and over until it works. You don't see my failures (and there are some) on YouTube! ;)

For a somewhat easy start try the step-by-step white headlight modification shown on my website!

I second that. I just did the white led mod myself.
Bob, question please. Are the earlier rear cab lowers basically just drive shells without drives?

My recent manufacture rear cab has no recessed place to even mount LEDs, and looks very very different from yours.

Onizukachan, my rear cabs do not have a cutout for the headlights. I cut/filed out the area (you can see some pencil guidelines in one of my photos) and made a 3D printed pocket (epoxied in place) for the LEDs. The best way is probably to epoxy in the 3D part then cut/file the opening.
I also removed a few ribs and things that were in the way of my installation.

The Mark VII is easier since it already has a recessed area for the headlights.

Wow. Bob, I continue to be in awe of your innovation.
Can’t wait for you to be finished with the move so I can get a WhisperJet from you!

Hah, I can't wait to be finished with the move too! ;) I just have to: raise the garage door height; assemble the hydraulic lift; so I can put my machine tools on the lift; add enough electrical outlets so I can actually plug tools in; ......... in the meantime the bike paths and the beach are calling!
