To hop or not (with toddlers)

I bought them for us, because I've never not had hoppers...i figure that around the time we'd be hopping she'd want to nap anyway and she'll nap just fine on the monorail or the friendship boat (we have no hopping planned where we'd have to take a bus)

I have triplets - we got hoppers for our first two trips. Then in 2015 (when the kids were shy of 7) we had hoppers but our schedule worked out such that we never hopped. My wife and I realized that we didn't really need hoppers at all. Once the kids stopped wanting to take naps, we either spend all day in the parks or go back to the pool and back to the same park for some more rides/dinner.

We toyed with it for a bit too, but we opted for the park hoppers. We have a 2 year old and plan to bring her back midday for a nap or at least just to relax a bit. We are only park hopping 2 of the 4 days we have the tickets for, so we figure that shouldn't be too rough on her. We took her to Hershey Park last year, did breaks and went back to the park after nap time and it worked out great. Hopefully we will do okay this time too.

Hoppers are part of how we balance my desire to plan with my husband's need for some unplanned time. I use touring plans and fast passes for the morning. Usually we stay in the parks until a little after lunch, go back to the campground for a rest and sometimes an early light dinner at our campsite. Then back to a park for less planned exploring and sometimes a snack or treat or fireworks show.

We are hoppers. Last time we went I had a 5 and 2 year old, and the hoppers were worth their weight in gold. We spent a lot of time at epcot in the evening in WS, but spent the mornings at MK or AK where there was more kid stuff to do. We always take an afternoon break, and then stay later (like 8-9pm) in the parks. This time we will have a 13, 10 and 2 year old and my plan already includes lots of hopping.
