"Um do you not see the duck??" A Sept '17 WDW TR! COMPLETED 12/22

SEE YA REAL SOON!

Our last day was also the day that we got to sleep in the most (hallelujah). Our destination for the whole day was Epcot, so after dropping off our luggage at the front desk for airline check in we grabbed a bus and away we went!

[Last day selfie]

We actually got to Epcot before the turnstiles were even open so we were toward the front when they finally let everyone through. While we were waiting the Jammitors came out and put on a show. The music was great but it was hard to hear them when they were speaking.

Once we were let through I grabbed a quick photo of Spaceship Earth with the Cheese-l Tower (just made that up) in front.

Our priority was booking it to Test Track so we could get it out of the way and avoid lines since we didn’t get an FP for it. When we walked up the wait time showed 75 minutes! We were super concerned then realized that they probably hadn’t changed it from the night before or were testing it or something because there were definitely only like 25 people in front of us.

I also missed out on a bored photo on this ride. I was ready for the camera but the sun was right in my eyes when the doors opened so all my face shows is pain…

We were in desperate need of caffeine at this point so we went by Starbucks where I got (yet another) pink drink.

I sipped my pink drink while in line to meet one of my favorite characters- Baymax! Big Hero 6 is such an underrated movie. I love it so much and hugging Baymax is just a wonderful feeling.

Our first FP of the day was Spaceship Earth (which was useless as I knew it would be). This is another ride that I appreciate more the more times I ride it.

After SE we grabbed a few photopass shots by Chef Figment then headed over to The Seas.

I was Disneybounding as Dory that day so I definitely needed to get a photo at The Seas.

We enjoyed the cool air for a bit while looking at the fishies, then when to enjoy the cool air at Living With the Land.

It was definitely time for some snackage after that so we went for the only obvious option: School Bread! Mmmm I love thee, school bread.

Our big FP for the day was FEA, which I hadn’t had a chance to ride yet. It was super cute but I’m going to join the crowd of people who miss Maelstrom. FEA is just so tame and predictable.

The plan for the rest of the day was to tour the World Showcase and try out the F&W booths that looked interesting to us. As we started our loop, we stopped at China to meet Mulan and take a few photos with Mushu, too!

I am disappointed in myself for this day, because I did not take enough pictures! Most of my pictures are of the food, but I barely have any of the park itself. Need to do better next time!

Anyway, our first stop was Germany where I got the sausage in a pretzel roll.

Up next was Belgium for the braised beef, then Brazil for the Brazilian shepherd’s pie and cheese bread (both of which have beautiful names that I cannot remember and couldn’t spell even if I did).

[I was so proud of how pretty this photo was until I saw my thumb]

By this time I had realized my mistake in only giving us one and a half days for F&W- I was wayyy too full and had barely crossed anything off my list! The next time I go, I need to spend a little time at Epcot each day and spread out my eating.

To try and break it up, we stopped at the UK pavilion to meet Mary Poppins. This was the only character we met who didn’t have a photographer with us. Luckily M & I had each other to trade off photographer duty.

The next treat was the most adventurous thing on my list- the goat cheese pudding from France. I figured I like goat cheese and I like pudding, so it should be great! Well, I don’t know if it was the heat or the combination or the fact that I was already stuffed, but I could only eat one bite and it had to go in the trash.

At least we had some entertainment during that whole process! Next was Ireland (the land of my people! I’m sure you’re all shocked). Here I got one of each. The beer cheese dip was a little strong (I’m not a huge fan of beer but I’ve had some beer cheeses that I like. This wasn’t one), but the bread was good, as were the bangers and mash. The pumpkin chai shake is one of my favorite things ever and I need to find some pumpkin chai tea so I can make my own!

For another break in eating we decided to watch O Canada. This is a fun film but honestly it needs to be seated. Just put in some spinny stools so you can still see 360 degrees but please for the love of sore feet put some seats in here.

It started raining when we got out of the film so we popped over to Mexico to ride Gran Fiesta. This was the perfect amount of time for the rain to finish its course, and it was dry for us for the rest of the day!

I had two more F&W booths to hit up before we were done, even though my belly was about to pop. But I needed those AP buttons! So we went to two more booths (I forget the names and I didn’t write them down) to get the nitro chocolate truffle and the onion tart. Both were good, though I would have enjoyed them much more had the stomach capacity.

M said she needed a drink so I took her to Club Cool. I told her to try Beverly because ‘OMG it’s the best!’ and silly her, she actually liked it! She didn’t fall for my tricks… Which is what I get for trying to trick someone.

The last stop before the exit was Mouse Gear for some last minute shopping, then we said a sad farewell to Epcot.

We stopped for one last photopass on the way out, and the photographer was from near we are so we chatted with him for a minute.

We caught a bus to CBR, where we had about 40 minutes to wait for our ME. We both had a few dining credits left so we bought some packaged snacks to take home. And with that we said See Ya Real Soon to Disney World!

Thanks for tuning in. It’s always so fun to relive the memories and share them with other fan(atic)s :D

Here's another showing off one of my favorite outfits from the trip:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your outfit!!!

Super cute! I currently don't have an Alex and Ani bracelets, but I have been eyeing them for a while. I just informed my DH that I think these may become my new obsession. :)

The pumpkin chai shake is one of my favorite things ever and I need to find some pumpkin chai tea so I can make my own!

I didn't know about the Pumpkin Chai Shake...I MUST try it! Pumpkin and Chai are two of my favorite flavors, I can't imagine how amazing they are in a shake!
