Quietest Concierge Room Locations

We had room 12514 on the Dream and never heard any deck chairs the whole cruise, which was really nice since I'm a light sleeper. We are going in January on the Fantasy in room 12506, it has en extra big verandah. I'm hoping it won't be too noisy above from deck chairs.

Thanks for that info, FSU Girl! It was my first time for concierge booking and I just upgraded last month so there were no deck 12's remaining. Having to run the stairs to and from the lounge will help offset my caloric intake! :teeth:

I think you will love it! If we book concierge again I will always book deck 11 from now on - I LOVED it!

We had a suite on the Dream, 11004, with a “gerbil veranda”. We loved it. The location itself was very quiet, no overhead noise at all. The bump out veranda was huge. In addition to the chairs and small table provided, we hooked up a camping hammock on the veranda with plenty of room to spare. We spent tons of time out there. The clear overhang meant we could sit out and enjoy the rainstorm that popped up one afternoon, without getting wet and listening to the pitter patter of the rain.

We had this room. Very quiet. I would not hesitate to book it again. One non-concierge cruise on the Magic we had a room under Cabanas, I believe. The noise from the deck chairs was miserable. I would rather stay one level down on deck 11. Have a great cruise OP!

Great information from everyone!
Well, we booked cabin 12526 for a 7-Night this winter as it was the only 1-bedroom suite left. We stayed in this same cabin in April of this year for a 7-Night and it was great but as mentioned I could hear deck noise above around midnight (cleaning crews) and 5am every morning (deck chairs being drug around). Was not horrible but noticeable. Obviously not too bad or would not have booked the same cabin again.
I have booked 12514 on a 7-Night in 2019 so I will find out and post if going further forward eliminates some above deck noise or if it presents new noises from below (gym from deck 11).

Kevin please do return to this topic. We had 12014, so port side from your room, and there was almost no noise. My theory is with 12526 near the area under the Currents bar that could be a little more noisy from guest activity.

Yes, would love to hear back from KevinFL post cruise. And keep the input coming on the concierge rooms, folks! :thanks:

I've sailed concierge, once in 12510 (Dream), that was very quiet. Only heard the sounds of the ocean when out on the verandah. Plus, loved the location, so convenient to the concierge lounge. The second time, I was in 12000 (Fantasy), but unfortunately since it was sandwiched between the two royal suites, I heard the noise from the families in the two suites using their veranda hot tubs, whether I was in the room our outside trying to enjoy my verandah. I chalk that up to a "noisy neighbor" experience, not a reflection on the ship.

Thank you for that input, Ajlsjl! :flower2:

I have two rooms (not the 1 bedroom suites) on the Dream Deck 11 for next week...whoo hoo! 1st time DCL and concierge....I knew about the "gerbil" verandah when I booked and I'm not concerned about one flight up to the lounge. I had no other options other than Deck 11 as I needed two rooms next to each other. Most of the rooms were booked already when I booked in May of 2017 over a year out! Will post how it went when I get back!

Wow! First time DCL AND concierge??? That's a amazing! I know you will love it! I will look forward to hearing your comments after your wonderful cruise next week!! Bon Voyage! :sail:

I picked 12512. I was going to sail in a family verandah for our August 2019 cruise but I decided to surprise my Husband with Concierge to celebrate our 16th Wedding Anniversary. I hope its not as noisy as reported. I'm a very light sleeper.:rockband:

We cruised in 12512 in December. I noted no noise from above. We all slept very sound- me, DH, and 2 kiddos. We were not trying to nap during the day though so not sure if that would have made a difference. We will be cruising in Nov 2019 and have selected 12512 again as we loved this room.

I'll second the endorsement of 12510 on the Dream. We didn't hear any noise from above, it's right across the hall from the Concierge Lounge entrance, and it has a "bump out" verandah. Only knock on the room (and this is not specific to this cabin, it's all the Cat V's on the dream) is that you can't access the verandah with the sleeper sofa made out unless you crawl over the bed...which of course is not conducive to adults having a glass of wine on the verandah while the kids are sleeping.
