Thank you to those on this forum who helped us plan our trip to Quebec City...it was fabulous! It was the first time we did a driving vacation (from Pittsburgh, PA) and we really enjoyed it. We stopped in Kingston in both directions, which we also enjoyed. Having been to Montreal previously, I'm now thinking I'd like to explore Toronto and beyond. I'm not sure where such a trip should take us. We've done Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, so I feel we can skip that.

We like hiking, nature, sightseeing, shops, and quaint towns.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you been to Niagara-on-the-lake? I loved visiting the wineries in that region and having the peaches in the world (even better than peaches from Georgia).

So still go to Niagara-on-the-Lake and visit the Shaw Festival. Live theatre. Very pretty town. Or, visit Stratford and take in their festival. Shakespeare.

You can go to Pelee Island and the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame (closer to Detroit). Elora Gorge is a pretty nice place.

For touristy stuff Toronto has a CityPass. Hockey Hall of Fame might be of interest to you as well
