Would you rather spend five days exploring

I'd choose NYC. I've traveled in Europe and visited quite a few big cities, but NYC felt more foreign to me than anyplace I'd ever been. I've been twice and barely touched the surface of what I wanted to see.

I only put US cities, cause I felt most of us would want to visit some big cities of the world, where we probably will never get to go to

I don't think you get points for admitting you're anti-US. We all know that already. No big deal.

I’m not anti US. I used to go shopping down there for a weekend every year. Now, I’d feel unsafe. I’m hardly the only person with those feelings.

Who is ‘we’?

1. Los Angeles because I have been to New York many times and I've only taken a one day bus tour of Hollywood/LA, although I've been to Disneyland several times.

2. New York if I could spend the 5 days doing theater....

3. Yellowstone because nature/scenic wonders interest me the least. Glamping in deluxe lodges I would do...

I haven’t been to any of them and ultimately would like to visit all three. I think I would be most interested in Yellowstone, but 5 days might be too long.
We were in Yellowstone for 3 days last year. Not nearly enough time. We could easily have spent a week and we’re not big hikers. It was indescribable. I hope to get back some day.

I think "we" is everyone on this board that's been paying at least a little attention. It's very obvious, but it doesn't bother me. You have a right to your opinion.

You have probably been paying too much attention to the news. If I didn't know better, I'd be afraid to get out of bed. Bad news sells. Good news doesn't. I live near one of the most dangerous cities in the country & I don't feel unsafe. It's the same as most places. You stay out of the few dangerous areas & you're fine. I won't be going to those places anytime soon. There's no reason to feel unsafe where I live. Where I grew up, you can still leave your home & car unlocked. We've all heard about mass murders in a lot of countries. At this point, it sadly appears that no country is immune, even though some people want to deny it. That doesn't make me think those countries are bad. I would have no problem visiting them, but would want to stay out of the most dangerous areas. Bad things happen in good places, just like bad things happen to good people. It's too bad it's that way, but that's life.

Definitely Yellowstone. I’m a nature lover. Heading to the Smoky Mointains this week. I live on Long Island. NYC is great for the shows, but other than that, I’m not a fan. When I think of LA, I think of lanes and lanes of traffic. Getting anywhere would drive me crazy.

Everybody? I had NO idea I was that popular. These boards have what, thousands of members and they all know about me? That’s quite a feat to be that well known. Good for me :)

My first choice would be NYC. There is so much stuff that I would like to see. Probably on paper it would be a good idea, but the reality would be far less charming. Crowds and stuff irritate me, so I probably would not like it as much as I think I would.
