Best pizza in the parks?

My DD can’t get enough of pizza. Nothing fancy, just looking for good flavor because she only eats cheese. She doesn’t mind if I get pepperoni and pull off her pepperoni. Where the best spot? How’s the Pizza Planet place? My kids love Toy Story so is that worth it?

We do not eat pizza in the park, never thought about it.
Our favorite is the pizza at Naples (DTD) and Storyteller has a make your own pizza on the kids menu our kids love. We also like Pizza Press by The Anaheim Hotel. We do like the poutine flatbread at the Red Rose Tavern but that has a lot more then just cheese.

Naples has the best pizza, but they use fresh mozzarella cheese which is texturally different than what most kids are used to and there isn't currently a way to get just one slice (the to go place is being refurbished).

For plain cheese pizza, the best bets are Alien Pizza Planet at Disneyland and Boardwalk Pizza at DCA. Both serve giant slices of pizza for around $7. It's a thicker crust...somewhere between flatbread and the individual round pizzas you can get at the other CS places. The round pizzas are available in Toontown, Red Rose Taverns, and also at the two places mentioned earlier (the smaller round pizzas are on the kids menus there). The round pizzas are heavier on the crust and sauce, in general. The large individual slices have better ratios. My kids love them.

I am not a fan of the flatbread styles. They are always cold and skimpy on the toppings. My kids don't like them either.

The last time I was there, we got Round Table, and brought it back to the hotel.

Also pizza is available at White Water Snacks. And you can get pizza at Naples to carryout and eat anywhere if there is a long wait for a table we have done this and been finished eating before a table would have been ready.

I've never had the pizza at Pizza Planet/Port. However, I've been told my multiple people that it's not very good. Moreover, it's expensive. I believe a slice runs around $8. A whole pie is around $50 or so. Ouch and yikes.

We actually ate at Pizza Press on our last trip but I’m looking for food when we are in the park. We are going with my DH for a business conference which is usually the only way we go. This means it’s just me and the kids and I need to balance out what they like a.k.a. Bribery. No matter how bad she will want pizza. I know last trip I got it for her at DCA, I think that’s the Pizza and Pasta place in the back. Just wondering if there was a better place. We are usually so on the go that we haven’t spent much time checking out the food options.

Those are only whole pizzas though. They are huge, expensive, and IMO, not as good as Naples. We got the pepperoni and it was a grease bomb. We didn't even finish it...threw out like 3 slices worth. It was terrible.

Not really there is the galaxy one you mentioned in Disneyland. But nothing “good”.

.

I agree with you. White Water Snacks used to have individual pizzas (cheese or pepperoni) that came with a salad. I was disappointed when they removed that from the menu and added "artisian" style pizza. I have sent Disney comments and asked them to please bring back the individual pizza with the salad, as well as the caramel/chocolate pretzel rod in Critter Country.

When youngest was in his all-pizza-all-the-time phase, his favorite was the Mickey shaped pizza at NR. The servers were so sweet with the kids, making a big deal out of serving the pizzas. You can get this in the lounge, too, if you don't want to sit in the dining room.
