RENDEZVOUS AT THE FORT - The Fort Wilderness DISMeet Trip Report October 2020

I had an ISC350 in my 2001 pusher. 3 snapped/drilled out, rest came out with patience.
Curious...can you define "patience"? Were you waiting for some liquid "persuasion" like a WD40 to penetrate or wrench with a cheater attached. I have tried the latter and snapped off the bolt head. Not good.

WD40 ?? You might as well pour milk on it. Kroil is the best product to bust old bolts. Sold by a company Kano labs, the stuff is awesome. Always have a can or two here. Been using it for 30 years now.

Lots of that, some heat on the most stubborn. Reverse drill bits and a thread cleaning tap as needed for the broken one and replace all cylinder studs/bolts.

Excellent. Knew there was something better out there. Thanks for the info!

How sad. Our DISMeet trip report has been un-stickied. Now it will float down the page and eventually roll into history.

I updated the table in post #1 (hopefully for the last time) to show who all was actually in attendance.

During our trip, I ended up getting a couple of things, we usually do not get.

Had seen BamaEd's and liked it so go one.

This fella came from Yak and Yeti, and is the most resusable of them all, and easiest to clean.

And I found this fella on the way out of EPCOT, and thought he was cute.

We then stopped at Mousegears on the way out of EPCOT and got a t shirt or two, some magnets, and this....

Once it goes together, I am thinking of making it a wall hanging, backing it with the nice bright orange material I have left over, putting grommets in both corners of the fabric. We will see how it goes.

Well we may be unstickied, but we'll still keep it at the top.
When we got home sunday, I was parking coach and trailer in the dark & damp, 40 degrees.
This week has been continued rain off and on temps in the 50's.
Last night 1.5" rain. About 1pm today sun came out and beautiful 70 degrees
Unfortunately that was what I was waiting for as it's time for the transfusion of pink liquid into the veins of the coach.
Alas, it was not so terrible as I had 2 unannounced helpers that came home with us.

Problem is I don't know what to do with them. They won't last long up here

PS: Learned how to channel my inner cat and fit into spaces no normal human could.

Hey Everyone, Sorry I couldn't make the meet up. Heck I have been so busy I forgot to even keep up here. Things have been crazy for me. I was even on the fence about cancelling our annual Halloween trip. It will take me few weeks to catch up but I hope everyone had fun.

Well You guys made me feel like it would be fun to drive the Fort last night...it is scary in the dark and felt like there was No Way Out a few times.
But very impressive to see the squeeze into lot for so many.
No turning back & no turning around Words of caution!
Foolish mortals Beware.

Hello Everyone!

I had to catch up and read about 15 pages. So much was going on with our group while I was at the Fort, and I didn't even know it! Who knew I should have been watching this thread. We will be prepared (and contribute) on the next trip.

Thanks so much for making Damien and me feel so welcomed. The potluck and "after party" were by far the best part of our trip.

We can't wait until Tennessee.
