It hasn’t opened at all today. Shame because I wanted to ride before flying home tonight!

As someone who contracted viral meningitis from a mosquito bite in universal last year, I’d say go prepared. In the last ten trips I reckon I’ve been bitten on only three of them but the last one was a doozy. I’m taking repellant with me this year.

At 8:15 this morning when we arrived it had a 90 minute line so it’s possible, but I don’t know for sure.

So we did this years HHN... we thought it was scarier than previous years. The scarecrow house and dead waters are seriously jumpy. Scarecrow is the worst. Saw is deranged and gruesome. The shining is less jumpy but has a creepy vibe. Just in case these might be a little too much for you...

My 11 year old twins were both chosen. But that’s probably because they were twins. They bought the wands they were assigned but there were plenty others that were nicer!

FoP is nowhere near as sick inducing as Star Tours or FJ. ST made me ill even with Dramamine. FJ was fine with Dramamine. None needed for FoP.

We just got back and didn't ride it. However we are going again next week so may ride it then. But it certainly wasn't a must do for us!

If you can afford to do it without breaking the bank, it's worth it. If you can't, then it isn't. If you do go for it, you aren't paying for just one ride as such - you're also paying for the general hopping convenience. But it does seem like a lot of money unless you're big HP fans!

Margaritaville is LOUD, as in can't hear the person next to you loud. Hard rock is noisy so I'd avoid that too. Most places are busy, and not quite intimate dinner type scenarios ;)

Dragon challenge has a 54" height requirement and isn't a moderate coaster, unless you'd also count Hulk as moderate :) so I wouldn't worry too much about missing it! Hulks also a 54" so that's out unless you're going a long time from now? The Mummy is a great ride though so definitely go for...

This thread really reminds me of that episode of Friends! Generally we're lucky to have friends that are all on an equal footing so we tend to have the same budget for things. I did have friends in a couple who would often decide at the last minute they couldn't afford to do what we had...

This is the only one I've heard of too, a future FP for guests who are slightly too small. It's a nice touch :)

I'm glad you decided to take action. I'd have notified the police. It's PROBABLY nothing. But could you imagine how you'd feel if he did do something terrible and you could potentially have stopped it with a phone call? You absolutely did the right thing.

My DD is upset about it closing - it was her favourite ride. I'm sad too, it was a great nostalgic ride.

Touring Plans Lines app is far more accurate than the Disney app. A few times last trip, rides were showing as open on MDE when they were closed. Lines shows you both posted and expected waits and it's usually right on the money.

For the HP experience it's best to ride HE from kings cross first, then back again :) Don't worry about business with EPs. It won't be an issue at all.
