Telling Our Parents at Disney World

That is true. They would keep them for sentiment, I think. :) I'll be sure to post again when I come back and we've done it, if people want to see it! True. The ears are also looking good..... Hmmm....

Telling Our Parents at Disney World

Thanks! I like that plan too - we'd talked about ears, but we aren't sure that its worth it, since at least the grandpas would be unlikely to wear them. (I had enough trouble getting DH to wear groom ears for the one day we were there on our way to our honeymoon! He gets it honest!) I'll put...

Telling Our Parents at Disney World

He says he's okay with doing it at MK. I suggested something at the resort, but we aren't sure that we'll all be staying near each other (we have 3 separate reservations) so it would end up being in the middle of hte lobby anyway. I also suggested trying to arrange something to be given to them...

Telling Our Parents at Disney World

Hello! My husband and I are going to WDW and stayed at AKL in August. I just found out I'm pregnant with our first child. So since I'm currently not very far, we wanted to wait to tell them until we get there. Hopefully everything will go well, but we're at a bit of a loss about how to tell...

    Gift Basket in Room

I was debating ordering a gift bag/basket for my parents and my inlaws who are going on our trip with us. My mom's birthday happens the same month, and I figured we could do it as a belated anniversary gift for my in laws. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? Order it or create...

    AKL Activity Recommendations?

Hello all! We're staying at AKL in August. I've stayed there once before, but it was over 10 years ago. I've heard that there are lots of great activities at the resort and I was wondering if people have any recommendations? Its all adults on this trip - my parents, DH's parents, and us. TIA!

    Red Wine?

I've used Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot - but the best I've used was Lambrusco. It made a delicious roast!

    Cooking Blog Question

I was debating something the other day - one of the souvenirs I always buy on a Disney trip is a new cookbook from the World. I was looking through them the other day and I had a thought - what if I cooked my way through the World? I could put it on my blog, or create a whole new blog (I've been...

Things Disney Offers But Doesn't Advertise (New)

I LOVED the animation classes at DHS, and I was so bummed when I found out they stopped. I'm glad they've gone somewhere else. Didn't realize this!

    Suggestions Welcome!

Hello! So, its been awhile since I've been on a Disney trip (excluding one day on our honeymoon on the way to the cruise). DH and I are going with family in August, and we haven't told anyone that this is our last big adventure because we're going to start trying for children this summer. I...

Crystal Palace - Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner???

My vote is for dinner...the buffet had a huge selection, the food was awesome, and its a character dinner, so you get to meet Pooh and friends. (I'm a big Eeyore fan....) But then, i've never done the rest, so it depends, iguess. :)
