    Need advice about moderate resorts

I personally wouldn't, because the boat horns can be loud, and we're not in the room that much, but maybe look at some of the sites that show the various views of each room and see what you think.

Hoop Dee Doo - How is the updated show?

It's fun, we went about a week & a half ago. This was our first time so can't compare, but it's a silly show. 3 girls, 3 guys, lots of corny jokes and songs. It's cornbread, you get it in a small loaf.

    Need advice about moderate resorts

Another vote for POFQ, it's my favorite resort and that boat ride to Disney Springs can't be beat.

What is your favorite character meal?

My new favorite is the Bon Voyage breakfast - the food was really good (and lots and lots of it) and the character interaction was excellent. I also like that it's an open kitchen and you can watch the chefs work, that was fun. I would absolutely book this one again.

***Official March 2019 Spring Into Disney Thread!***

Got back late last night. Some random thoughts: It was WAY more crowded than I thought it would be. We've done Spring Break before (3 - 4 years ago) and this was much busier. I noticed a lot more school groups and a lot more foreign groups (yes, including Brazilians.) Waits for FOP topped 150...

    The Everything Pooh Sized Thread

I got on FOP no problem! :flower1: I was worried. I did try the seat outside and the CM said I'd be fine. Once inside I did have to utilize the lift up on your tiptoes to get the leg restraint to fully click, but the back was absolutely fine. Whew!

    Annual Reading Challenge 2019

23 / 115 - The Masked City - Cogman, Genvieve. Invisible Library #2 and I liked it better than the 1st one. Sort of steam-punk fantasy. The characters (at least Irene and Kai) get more depth here and it's a good story. Going on to #3.

Adventures of the Traveling Fire Pit Round 2 Try it again?

Overlapping stays to be worked out between the individuals TexasBee 3/10 - 3/17 Christine Raynor 3/14-4/14 Looks like we're the only overlap in this timeframe - do you know when you want to get it from us? Do you want to trade cell #s so we can coordinate? We will be arriving midday on...

Yeah, I'm having trouble too. MDE says I only have FPs for 2 guests on everything. Though I did doublecheck on the desktop and that looks OK. I'm going to assume it's all OK on my bands and try not to worry over it.

    Annual Reading Challenge 2019

20 / 115 - Fight and Flight - Meyer, Scott. Continuing his Magic 2.0 series, which I like for something light. In this book the wizards create dragons, which escape and have to be dealt with. Cute enough, 3 stars. 21 / 115 - Vox - Dalcher, Christina. Oh, I really disliked this book. I...

SURVIVOR 37...and NOW Survivor 38 (no spoilers)

First impressions? I would have voted off that person too. Just the whole demeanor at Tribal Council would have annoyed me enough to put that name down. I am looking forward to seeing what the Edge of Extinction place is - is it like Exile Island or more like the old Ghost Tribe? Did not...

    Annual Reading Challenge 2019

19 / 115 - The Invisible Library - Cogman, Genevieve. This is actually a re-read from a couple of years ago because I want to read the rest of the series and had forgotten what happened. It's sort of an alternate world with touches of steam punk fantasy series. I gave it 3 stars the first time...

    Annual Reading Challenge 2019

I love Elizabeth George, she is SUCH a good writer. 16 / 115 - Every Heart has a Doorway - McGuire, Seanan - I really like McGuire's urban fantasy InCryptid series so thought I would give this a try. Also a fantasy (NOT a romance which you might think given the title.) It's definitely an...

Scrapbook paper/ embellishment organizing ( why didn’t I think of this sooner?)

The bag idea also works really well when you finish a page but haven't got the album with you to put it in right away - like at scrapbooking events or retreats.

    Spinoff: Favorite Airport?

Love DCA (Reagan.... I mean National.) It's pretty / sunlit, the shopping and food choices are decent, it's small enough that when you have a gate change, it's not a huge deal, and I love being able to jump on the Metro to get to / from. I actually like DFW a lot, but I'm local, so I don't have...

    Annual Reading Challenge 2019

15 / 115 - Nighttown - Hallinan, Timothy. Junior Bender #7 and yes you need to read the others to really understand this one. I don't think I would like to go into this one cold - it's been about a year since I read #6 and even I struggled a bit to remember where we left off. These are murder...
