Can older child order from kid's menu at table service?

I'm sorry you didn't have a good experience. Our family is fortunate to not have any allergies or severe intolerances, but I have heard about how Disney has always been great for people who do have them. I guess even Disney has been greatly impacted by supply chain and employee issues. In...

Can older child order from kid's menu at table service?

Thank you! Not overstepping at all! We would be ok with them going off by themselves at those ages, but we kind of want to have meals together (at least I think we do; ask me a few days into vacation and I'll probably feel differently! LOL!). My oldest is going to college next year and this...

Can older child order from kid's menu at table service?

Thanks for the replies. I already talked to them and said they are either sharing an adult entree dumbed down or getting a kids meal in adult portions. Potentially even sharing that if the portions are big. They were fine with that considering they have similar food tastes.

Can older child order from kid's menu at table service?

I just commented on another tread where the OP asked if an older picky child could order an adult portion of chicken fingers (which is a kid's menu item). Answer was yes and charged the adult price. However, I'd like to know if an older child could order from the kid's menu at a nicer table...

    Older kids/picky eaters

I have a similar issue with my 12 and 15 year old kids. Though, there are some basic parts of adult entrees they would eat, but it it would need to be dumbed down and the portion size would need to be much smaller. There is no way that they would eat an adult-sized meal nor would they eat most...

Everything Genie, Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane - Please Read Posts 1-7

I just read the whole thread, but I still have a clarification question about stacking. Is it just the process of getting return times that overlap? How does one “stack”? i completely understand the other method demonstrated with a hypothetical MK day of using a G+ then immediately getting...

    Almost died yesterday

Wow!! So glad you are ok! My high school freshman daughter just learned the Heimlich as well as was certified in adult and infant CPR in school this year. This is just at our regular public high school. I don’t know if she could adequately provide aid in a crisis, though.

    Kids sports/extra curriculars and $$$

I have 3 daughters. All 3 play lacrosse on both club teams and town/high school varsity teams. With the club, we travel to tournaments in the fall and summer, with many hotel stays and some plane travel. My oldest is also a high school freshman and is hoping to play in college, so we have...

    What grinds your gears?

Too many to list all. Lol! People who don’t wash their hands after using the bathroom. Drivers who don’t know how to merge (going too slowly on a highway; not yielding properly). Drivers who come to a complete stop at a yield when there is no one around. It’s a yield; not a stop sign. Loud...

Will you fly on a Boeing 737 Max 8?

No. The similar crashes are just too coincidental for my taste. We are flying to Paris on Norwegian in the summer. Before the airline announced they were pulling the planes from service, I checked to see if we were on one (we weren’t). I’m not sure what I would have initially done if we were.

    Dyslexia anyone?

My 3rd grade DD was diagnosed with dyslexia at the end of last year through a pediatric neuropsych exam. Since kindergarten, I've been asking the teachers if her development in reading, writing, and spelling was lagging behind because I noticed differences between her and her older siblings as...

First Time at DLP, can I use a Visa gift card?

I think I used the wrong terminology. Not the actual Visa credit card, but the card with the reward dollars on it. Like the “free” money we get for charging on our Disney Visa. I’m guessing since it’s American dollars and sort of like a gift card, that we can’t use it in the park.

Baggage drop at the train station

We are traveling from central Paris. We arrive on July 30 and will be staying in Paris until the 9th. Then we will travel to DLP. That makes sense that RER would be faster if TGV doesn’t originate in the city to Disney. We would be heading there in the morning. Probably commuting time...

First Time at DLP, can I use a Visa gift card?

I think then that the answer to my question is no, but can I use my Disney visa reward card there?

    WWYD? A parenting teens question

Actually, his luxury vehicle (that is 8 or 9 years old) is parked in her garage while her fiancé’s new Ford truck is parked in the driveway. She said that the fiancé’s truck, which is his only vehicle, is used for his painting business and gets dirty and already has a ding. So it’s not as nice...

    WWYD? A parenting teens question

To be more clear, he wasn’t leaving the garage as a whole. He was exiting the top floor to go hang out on one of the other floors again. His mom was the one who surmised that he was probably going too fast when he skidded on the snow while trying to turn onto the ramp. She might have been...

When was the last time you checked the air in your spare tire?

It’s under my vehicle and I have no clue how to get it back on if I could even remove it. To access it, you have to remove the middle seat, pull back the carpet, and unbolt it. I have AAA, so if they came to change the tire and it was low, I’m guessing they could put air in it for me. In...
