    DIDDY OR DIDN'T HE?

Oh he diddy. There is no doubt in my mind about that. There are certain people that you just see the evil in their eyes. As far as innocent until proven guilty as 50 Cent said, they don’t come for you like that if they can’t prove their case. Not to mention innocent people don’t flee the country...

    slo’s WEDNESDAY 3/20 poll - Disney Parks Snacks 🥨 🍦🍗

Mickey Bar, hands down. (Though DS gets the ice cream sandwich) We have at least one every trip, usually in line for Pirates in the evening but not above having one for breakfast. If DH is with us we have them everyday of the trip. My kids would probably choose Churros. I hear ours (DLR) are...

Does anyone else deal with this?

I’m a proud Disney Adult and I don’t care who knows it or what anyone thinks of it. We are only four hours from DLR and have a lot of CA transplants so it’s a little different in that the people around us tend to get it and also go often or grew up going. Still, I do sometimes get comments or...

    slo’s MONDAY 3/18 poll - Eye Color 👀

I chose “other” because I don’t know anymore. 🤣 I have always said “hazel green” but younger DD has informed me that I have Central Heterochromia. Hazel eyes have brown/amber throughout the eye according to the interwebs while central heterochromia is a ring of color. My eyes are dark green...

my unpopular opinion: the iPhone is overrated

Simplicity. It’s just easier when everyone is on the same platform when it comes to various services, messaging etc. Everything is integrated and you don’t have to find a workaround for the person who is on a different platform.

    Keyless car starter

Everyone has pretty much covered what I was going to say. My fob lives in my purse and only comes out to unlock the doors. When I get gas I take the fob with me just like I would regular keys. Get out, open the gas tank door, lock the vehicle, put the fob in my pocket. My DH is infinitely...

Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Three...

Right? My jaw dropped. She’s a “warmer” blond and not as angular but otherwise if they hadn’t told us it would have taken me a bit to realize it I think. Obviously she studied her because she was spot on. Is this temporary or a recast?

Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Three...

I’ll be needing Eli to grow back his facial hair ASAP. Was it me or was Wendy making hand gestures behind Trip during the video? You would hope that one of them would devise some kind of a signal. Trip’s dad is a super spy after all. Hey! We didn’t get to see what’s in the time capsule. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Three...

No, I meant I think the cop burned up the Horton house. There’s still the matter of who shot at Lucas though. Yeah, I don’t know, maybe he really doesn’t remember. He didn’t seem shocked at all when Jada did his fingerprints.

Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Three...

I’ve thought maybe he’s working for Clyde especially because he didn’t get hit and Chad did but I think it was the rookie cop who took Trip and Wendy. They made a point to show her eyes and while all suspects at the moment have blue eyes, hers are particularly piercing. Even if he does have...

Days of Our Lives Watchers Part Three...

Did they not do a heart work up on Paulina before surgery? And she had a heart attack massive enough to cause her to need a transplant but only had an angio? You can live many years in heart failure and given her cancer diagnosis she’s probably not eligible for a transplant. Lazy writing. I...

CBS's Fire Country Season 2 thread.

I like it but it is a little romance novelish. The Leone parents really bug me, they’re the poster children for codependent dysfunction. I have to disagree with Buzz, episode one on its own reached new levels of over the top. That said, I watch these types of shows for escapism as in “my gas...

    Delete.

I carry $100 and two cards “just in case” and have my kids each carry an emergency $20. They are also on my card which they have set up with Apple Pay. With mobile order and even the carts taking Apple Pay we haven’t had to pull out a physical card or cash inside the parks in years. I think I...

    AT&T Outage

Any phone *should* be able to dial 911 with or without service. That’s why you get that message on your display where service should be or on the screen of your locked phone. That’s all phones and not reserved for iPhone. Apparently that feature failed in this instance. Emergency SOS via...

    AT&T Outage

Right. I’ve donated older models to the women’s shelter many times. They still do it. I know someone in a shelter now who has a no service phone for that reason. And now newer iPhones have emergency SOS via satellite. Wouldn’t be useful in a city with a lot of buildings but the tech gets better...

    AT&T Outage

Huh. That’s crazy. And scary. It’s always been my understanding 911 works no matter what. It’s why I have a cellular watch but don’t have service. For me it’s a “just in case” thing. Has there been any news as to what actually happened?

    AT&T Outage

My house was built in 2010 and we don’t have landline outlets at all. At least not any I have come across. Our internet works over coax cable. Most home lines are digital WiFi these days. I wouldn’t even know who to contact for an actual landline. I suppose it’s different in areas that are prone...

    AT&T Outage

We have Verizon and were not affected. Just wanted to throw out a little PSA for those who were concerned about the ability to call 911. A working cell phone (or watch with cellular) will use *any* cellular tower to connect to 911 regardless of who your service is through and will work whether...
