The signs at the elevators say the lounge is closed, which it is. The viewing area is open. I talked to the dvc people here at bay lake and they said they only found out 2 hours ago that the viewing area was being opened today and tomorrow.

No food or drink. Probably around 50 people up here. Hours are 8:20 to 9:45. Drapes drawn on lounge so can’t see in.

I hope there is a soft opening this July 3rd and 4th for people staying there.

We booked the second cruise out in 2015 on DCL to help us save some money. We are a family of 6 and booked one balcony and an inside across the hall to help save money. We did book all of our excursions on our own to help save money but I am not sure what the protocols will be for this year...

The Waldorf has a helicopter pad. Saw it used a couple months ago. Dont know any other hotel in the Disney area has one.

I was at the observation deck last night. Fairly crowded. While the lounge was closed, they did sell wine and beer at stations outside of the two entrances to the lounge. The fireworks were the normal Disney fireworks, nothing patriotic.

Oh fun! I did research and yes, that pool area is all for Havana staterooms now. I’ve has also read that it is usually empty though.
