How is Dream different than Magic/Wonder (other than larger)

The Dream/Fantasy feel more crowded than the Magic/Wonder because they added more cabins without adding more public space. The adult pool area is smaller with a bar that in almost literally in the pool; the adult nightlife areas hokey & small. Overall, In 15 DCL cruises both the Dream &...

    Remember these? (Animators Palette)

The staff told us that the most stolen item in the history of all the dinings rooms is the Animator's Palette Paint Brush Butter Knife. (sorry, no picture)

Where do DVCers vacation … outside of DVC?

As the saying goes, "we haven't been everywhere but it's on the list!" Favorites is a hard question to answer. We have wonderful memories & things we've learned on every trip. To find your own favorites, I guess I would suggest traveling as much (domestically & internationally) as your budget...

    Disney Returning to NYC?

Hoping the Magic comes back, one of our top DCL cruises was the 7 day Quebec-NYC itinerary; we also enjoyed the 5 day NYC-Canada-NYC cruise. After 15 cruises, pretty much lost interest in DCL. Don't enjoy the bigger ships & the itineraries are meh.

    Sailing out of New Orkeans

No true. We did a Magic cruise out of NOLA in March '23. The ship was full; it was the most crowded cruise we had been on out of 15 DCL. Many families told us they loved doing these cruises since it was easier to drive to from either Port Canaveral or Galveston.

    Southern California and Disneyland Adventure

Oh my! Happy to answer DM Qs about our experiences on this trip--BOTH the positives we throughly enjoyed, as well as the issues we dealt with & some disappointing aspects. My post was not intended to be a conversation, a detailed complaint or unsubstantiated disparagement; but simply an...

    Southern California and Disneyland Adventure

Won't be doing a Trip Report. We only booked this trip for the Disney exclusive content in this 100th anniversary year. Given our extensive travel experience at a certain level, we knew ABD's other trips would not be of interest to us or good cost for experience value. As I said, we had some...

    Southern California and Disneyland Adventure

We've been back for a few weeks from our 1st ABD trip--the adult-only SoCal/Disneyland--so wanted to thank all on this thread for the information we learned here. Also wanted to invite anyone with questions to direct message me. In a nutshell: We had a number of Magical Moments but also some...

    Giving up on MDR food

No one goes on DCL for the food...mediocre at best. And the incredibly tight restaurants on the Wish make the experience worse. Palo has the luxury of providing made to order food.

No, pre-nights at Loews & post-nights at Grand California do not include breakfast. When at Loews, head down the block to Mel's Diner for a great breakfast.

    Let's talk Manatees

Admittedly not in the wild, but a good place to see manatees up close & personal including underwater viewing is at Zoo Tampa; not to mention a great day seeing lots of amazing animals including, my favorite, the Shoebill Stork (look it up).

Blue Bayou early January - what's up?

This past Wednesday 11/116, we did a walk-up at Blue Bayou at 11:45 am for lunch (party of 2) & were seated immediately. Give it a try if you can't get a reservation.

    Will I regret my decision--GCH vs off-site?

We are at the GCH now & finding the service has slipped far below what it used to be (especially the front desk). No longer worth the premium price.
