    Why is Poly so expensive

I love the Poly! We’ve stayed there several times over the years. But even with discounts, it’s too pricey for me these days. Now I’m happy to save my money and just go for a visit. :)

A different way to do Disney… should I?

OP, you have 4 young kids. Do they enjoy doing parks rope drop to closing? Running from ride to ride and eating at TS restaurants? When my kids were young, they mostly enjoyed swimming and hanging out at the resort doing pool activities and snacking the day away. So yeah. If I were you, I’d try...

BC proximity to EP realistic in August?

We’ve stayed at the BC in August and as people have already mentioned, exit out of the side door closest to Epcot. It’s a quick walk.

Why are new homes built mostly McMansions when people want smaller?

Every home (big, small, new, old, staged, as is) will sell if the price is right. The homes that have been on the market here for months are listed way too high and the seller won’t budge on the price. They’re obviously not in any hurry to sell.

Why are new homes built mostly McMansions when people want smaller?

Mostly townhouse complexes built around me. Each townhouse will sell for about a million each. Home builders get more bang for their buck doing this.

    Which moderate?

POFQ is such a small resort compared to the others. And I find, that even though the other moderates have multiple pools, most people tend to gravitate towatds the main pool at every resort, leaving the secondary pools nearly empty anyways.

    Which moderate?

I know the pool at POFQ doesn’t get a lot of love. But my two teens enjoy it. I think it’s because the slide is a bit hokey, but honestly, I don’t find the slides at the other moderates to be much better. Even though there is just one pool, I’ve never found the pool at POFQ to be too crowded...

    Getting Nervous

Oops. Yes. You’re right. I totally misread that. Then yeah, maybe there could be more people then a regular Sunday?

    Getting Nervous

I don’t think Tiana’s opening will be that big a deal in terms of crowds in the parks. A one day shot at Test Track can always be dicey if the weather is not cooperative. Das changes? Too soon to tell how/if that will affect you. Don’t be nervous. But be realistic and roll with the changes...

Would you go on a game show?

Sure. Sounds fun! Price is Right or Wheel of Fortune would be good for me. My husband would choose to be on Let’s Make a Deal so he could wear a costume. Lol.

DAS changes coming WDW May 20/ DL June 18, 2024

Yes. And many people who didn’t really need it have been getting DAS every time they entered a park for years. Suddenly not having it is, is really going to be a shock to their system once they have to tour the parks without it.

    Are you a good "dieter"?

I used to be super disciplined when it came to dieting. But I’ve lost my willpower and motivation. Exercise is still easy and enjoyable. I just eat too much. I need a jolt/trigger to get started again. Years ago, a neighbour stopped by and said, “Whoah! You’ve gained weight.” Those words were...
