Even if you do get an island, there won't be stools like they have at Kidani so it won't solve your seating issue. You could bring the chair in from each bedroom and at least have 6 seats at the table...

When we sleep 4 in a value studio we take a cot (but we drive and that makes it a lot easier). I’m the one that chooses the cot over sharing the sofa bed with someone 😂

My teen will sleep on it as a couch, he says it's more comfortable that way...

I think They are finishing up the standard rooms and dumping them into inventory. I know we aren’t supposed to post about availability but as of 6:20pm today there was a 1 bedroom standard available for next week.

The only way around this is to book a “fake” night now at any resort that is the amount of points you need (maybe a weekend night at SSR in September?) Call and buy your one time use points and then when it’s time to book HHI, be online right at 8am and modify the fake night to the unit you...

I was going to suggest something similar. I would Bet that the points spent on the 2 bedroom at BWV and the studio at BCV would be enough for 6 nights in a 1 bed at AKV, SSR or OKW. That would be one less move 😬

^^^All of this :) HHI is one of DVC's best kept secrets. You won't even care that its not "on" the water. The CM's are the best, they will know your children's names by the end of your first day. It is such a relaxing resort.

They all have a large balcony with a table for 4. Some of the one bedrooms in live oak lodge have extended balconies but all of them are good-sized :) we prefer the 1 bedroom directly behind the check in desk or the unit above that one. I attached a pic with the extended balconies highlighted...

We put an adult cot in the sink area but it blocked access to the 2nd sink. A crib would absolutely fit there if you are willing to give up the sink. Depending on the layout, you could also probably block the lock off door with the crib.

Was hoping to switch at 7 months but I know it's not going to happen...
