Purchasing 2017 GMC Acadia (SLT2 orDenali?) - Negotiation Tips?

Yes, definitely walk in with your own financing -- whether it's from your bank, a credit union, etc. We just bought a Jeep Wrangler. Hard to get those prices down, but we got it down some, had a good vehicle on trade & got what we wanted for it (b/c we had an offer on it from Car Max already)...

Tickets and Annual Pass Questions - Please add your ticket questions to this thread

Okay, quick question...On our last trip in November, two of our 3 kids didn't go back to the park on the last day. They opted instead to chill in the hotel and shop at Disney Springs (I should say teens, not "kids"). Do I still have the value of their tickets lurking about to apply to a future...

    Opened by 2019?

I would like to go for the 50th anniversary, myself. Maybe a small wedding anniversary trip with just my hubby (it'll be 27 yrs that December). We are already talking graduation trip for our youngest when he finishes HS in 2020, hoping the Star Wars resort will be open then. I know my husband...

Star Wars: Galactic Starship (resort experience) News

That makes sense to me, too. They did say it would open directly into the SW land and be fully immersive so that works well. If the price point is where everyone here thinks it will be and it opens when this thread is speculating, I think what my family will do is treat it as a Disney cruise...

When is everyone going to Disney?

Been wanting to go back, and just showed the family all the cool updates coming, so they agreed going back for our youngest 's graduation would be a great idea. Ugh...Now I have to wait until 2020, and then I want to go for the 50th anniversary in 2021. Not sure the hubby will go for that, but...

What is your average Disney vacation stay?

We've done 2 trips. Both were 9 days total, 8 in the parks. With extended family both times. We just started talking about trip 3 for when our youngest graduates high school in 2020. But, OH, that's so close to the 50th anniversary and I want to go for that... What to do? Maybe I can talk hubby...

Deposit down, we're going to Disney!

You will love it! We stayed in the AoA Lion King family suite on our last trip in November. We timed it to be able to see the candlelight processional on its first night. That was our second trip, and with teens who tried to be "too cool" for Disney! They failed :earseek:

how did you choose your username for the dis?

Well, since this zombie thread has been resurrected and I am sitting here at 4:30 being a zombie, my username is one I have used since my 2nd child was born. Nothing to do with Disney & everything to do with being a doula for a short time. ...And at this point I fell asleep typing, LOL! Anyway...

    Overheard - expired FP

Well, the GAC should be for 6, but as I discovered last week, the CMs would sometimes bend rules depending (I guess) on wait times & other factors. We would get FP but on a few rides it turned out faster to use the GAC, and sometimes what they did was split our large group (as many as 12-13...
