That surprises me. I received notice at least 2 months ago that "there would be television filming" occurring while we were there. It didn't indicate exactly what was being filmed, but we were given notice.

I was unable to waitlist the Executive Ama Ama Lanai today. I was told they don't offer waitlists, but I could call back. I have put the other 5 people on notice to try to call when they get a chance.

I just found out about these and called for the Executive, but unfortunately none were available when we are there 2/5 - 2/12. They would be perfect because my DH wants a table and chairs, but the kids want loungers. I guess I will keep trying.

Both rooms are I/G View. We are hoping for a sliver of ocean view. I just didn't think it was worth the extra points, when some of those views didnt seem much better.

I think that is very dependent on when you want to go. I was able to book a 2BR and 1 Studio (both I/G view) for the first full week of February at the 7 month mark. I did not walk the reservations and the dates were available for a couple of weeks after we booked.

We are 6 adults going in February. Me, DH, DS, DDiL, DD and DD's BF. We didn't want to use the points for a GV, so I did a 2brD and a studio. Privacy for the newlyweds but more space. We will still all eat/hang out in the 2br, but they will leave to sleep.

Saratoga Springs in November 2022, our next Disney resort is Aulani in Hawaii in February, 2024, actual WDW properties will be Saratoga Springs in May of 2024 (unless we find something good at our 7 month mark).

I was able to book my May trip using the URL work around. Try to book a trip with dummy dates that are currently open (I used 4/1 - 4/8). Then go up into the url box and change the dates to the ones you are looking for. If loaded, the dates will open for you to book.

I was able to get in using the "change the date in the url" method. Quick tutorial: pick your departure and arrival locations and pick a date when they are now open. Go up to the url and change the date to the date you want and hit return. it should populate the schedule for those dates.

I am trying to book 6 tickets to HNL to go to Aulani. Of course, it is out of two different airports so I am trying to find connections that we can meet up, and praying I have enough points. This is one of my more stressful waits.

Have you checked out Undercover Tourist? You now have to spend $100 on tickets to trigger the car rental discount, but that can be in movie/popcorn/soda or theme park tickets.

Once again, I was able to purchase by changing the date on the URL before the fares are loaded by calendar.

Our WL for a Treehouse at SSR came through. It is so much better to not have to have anyone sleep in the living room. I just wish they were the same points cost as a 2BR like they used to be .

I had no idea I could use my IL I-pass in Florida. We bought a SunPass years ago and have to remember to bring it with us each time (and more importantly - remember to take it out of the car when we get back to the airport).
