I was really disappointed by that on Disney cruise lines. I bought concierge to try to avoid some waits. It didn’t seem to help that much in my estimation.

Storytellers is a buffet. I think we served ourselves. Plaza inn was chaotic, table too close together, loud, lower qualify food. No time to eat because a lot of characters made quick stops. I haven’t been in 6 years.

I think the reason a lot of us keep bringing this up is because that’s how we used to use the parks before we or our loved ones had a disability. It seems to me more of a venting thing and being heard than comparing to other guests. DAS AP’s and non DAS AP’s touring styles are more of an apples...

We had a similar thing many years ago. Indy was going down the night we arrived in Anaheim. We had multi day park hoppers and were planning to upgrade to deluxe AP’s. So we decided to go to that park right before it closed. The helpful cm wouldn’t let us in the park. I had to ask for a lead. 😂...

At Disneyland it looks like it will be handled with rider switch. This is from the Disneyland disability access guide. The WDW one doesn’t have the same thing.

Fastpass was free and limited. When some people didn’t want to pay they started faking disabilities. The fastpass system limited number of rides per day, they’d run out, DAS doesn’t run out.

We stay at h otel suites with a kitchen. My kids have allergies and we cook a lot of their meals in the room.

In the example I gave the person wasn’t using rider swap. They were told to get a return time for the child’s wheelchair at the exit. I don’t think that process has changed at all. I’ve used it with a stroller as a wheelchair before. ETA: I went and looked and the accessibility guide calls it...

Someone in one of my social groups reported being denied for a child that had previously received DAS for a ‘can’t walk’ physical disability. They didn’t say which park. They were offered return swap times at what I assume are non-accessible wheelchair rides.

Theyll give you a cup of ice at quick service. I also like to freeze a water bottle and put it in my small cooler to keep their stuff cold.

I think this is partly why they’re switching away from in person.
