Credit card issue on Disney website

I spent an hour on the phone with some lovely CMs. Escalated twice and the third guy was able to push it through. He doesn't know what the problem was but he had some tricks and made it happen. Phew.

    DisneyWorld too expensive for Canadians?

We took our kids when they were younger 6 times between 2013 and 2018. Now they are both Disney adults, and we have ventured towards Universal as at 11 and 14 they are thrill ride junkies. That being said, they are desperate to go back to Disney. We are in Orlando in 2 weeks, and they have...

Credit card issue on Disney website

Has anyone had issues lately using a Canadian credit card (specifically Passport Visa from Scotiabank) on the Disney site? I've never had this issue before, spent a lot of time on the phone with Visa and it is not a problem on their end, but my payment will not go through for Disney tickets...

    Semi-last minute, 1 day MK

Great thank you! One other question. Now that you can get a return time from the app, do you have to have tapped into the park before you can get one?

    Semi-last minute, 1 day MK

Hey everyone...long time GAC/DAS user (my husband), but haven't been since pre-pandemic. Turns out our kids have chosen to go to MK for a single day as opposed to some other activities when we are in Orlando in 2 weeks. I've been trying to catch up on all the changes and just want to make sure...

Online check in with third party package?

We are arriving at Cabana Bay on Sunday, not till around 9 pm. We booked our package with Costco Travel, and I can't link our tickets to the app yet, have to wait till we get there and pick up the tickets. Will we be given the opportunity to do online check in? How does that work? And as far...

    AAP and Hagrid's - Universal

You can call and speak to a TM ahead of time, I was told to do it within 30 days of our trip. If they approve the AAP they give you a reference number, which you quote when you get to guest services and get the pass. For anyone that has concerns about explaining needs in public etc then it can...

    AAP and Hagrid's - Universal

Had a lovely interaction with a Universal TM on the phone, and have my husband's AAP ready to go for our trip in 10 days. Was wondering what people's experience has been using it at Hagrid's? Considering it doesn't have an express pass line, where do you join the line with the AAP? How much of...

    CABANA BAY BEACH RESORT Thread..........

Further to this..does anyone know the current price? Trying to find inner tubes in late October in Canada is proving challenging LOL.

    Universal questions

Hey everyone, Does Universal keep info on file from previous visits? We were at Universal in 2016, and my husband qualified for the AAP, and we are heading down again on November 13. We have always found it so easy (and less stressful) to renew at Disney as we knew his info was on file...

Will be there first weekend of November. Holiday decorations up?

Wait...what?! We are going to be there Nov 13-18 and just assumed we wouldn't see anything Christmassy seeing as we are there before American Thanksgiving! Time to rethink some touring plans...what should we not miss??? We have an absolute Christmas nut with us..like Grinchmas will probably...

I have a question about the lazy river. Does the hotel supply inner tubes?

    Restaurant kids' menus

I've been perusing the menus in advance of our November trip (love being able to check out food and prices), and the kids menus either say 9 and under, or they don't have an age specified at all. How strict are they? I have an 11 year old who is tiny and can easily pass for 9 at a restaurant...

    Frustration with the Universal website

Yeah, we are within 2 months of arriving, (52 days!) and I thought they would be released by now. Is it terribly bad form to make a couple of reservations now and then cancel once the hours are out and we have a better plan?

    Frustration with the Universal website

See this is what I am saying...I know where to find the park hours, but they haven't been released past October 31st. When you go through booking a package, the only options to add are a breakfast at Leaky Cauldron/Three Broomsticks. I am assuming that whatever dining plan they used to have is...

    Frustration with the Universal website

I am sure this is just my years of Disney planning talking, but does anyone else find the Universal website less than helpful? First off, the lack of park hours is infuriating (common annoyance I see). I see mention of a virtual queue, but no information on the website about how it works...

Thank you! Is it obvious where you should line up?

    Interactive wands

Great, thanks everyone. When we were there 7 years ago (without kids) I feel like we randomly lined up and got into the Ollivander's wand ceremony. How does it work now? How often do they do it?
