Thankfully it's not that bad. But I'll assuredly have to do a deep clean once this portion of the project is finished. The first wig though (the one I practice on) was atrocious. Those wig hairs were sticking on me like crazy and were all over my legs and clothes. Thankfully the wig I ended...

I agree that in the dark with the LED on, it won’t be as noticeable. But it is pretty noticeable in the daytime before the LED becomes more visible.

Happy to help. I've personally, and with others, seen significant gains on the Daniels 5k plan (the mile one too). My best advice is to find a flat uninterrupted stretch of road that you can focus on the R paces on. Pre-measure the distances using Google Maps and man-made objects. So like...

Amphibia Costumes - Anne's Hair - Part 15 Depending on the phone camera settings, it really can make it look like it lights up the room at dark. I started using small hair bands to hold some of the stray pieces together near the tips. It helped form a more cohesive piece...

Amphibia Costumes - Anne's Hair - Part 14 Not much to add in words, but lots of pictures on the progress. The routine continues to be the same. Cut some chunks of hair away from the wig, Mod Podge the tips together, allow to dry, then hot glue the tips to the head piece, once a section has...

Oh yea, he does/used to do that with frequency. Pretty sure there's an entire archived section of LR devoted to Canova threads where he divulges information (like this one from 20 years ago - link). There used to be several other big name coaches who would similarly post in LR. It's been a...

A couple of things to pull apart. In strength training, what is this decision to change weights based on? So you're proposing that in strength training you shouldn't use the same weights (pace in running), same reps, and same sets over the course of a "training plan" and expect the same...

Well, it was suppose to be marathon day on Saturday, but I had pulled the plug several months ago due to everything that's going on. It was absolutely the right choice. But I decided to check in on the weather for the marathon just to see what I was missing out on. As a reminder, I was going...

That's all the makings of a classic Canova LR community thread. Good info, and some trolls sprinkled in.

I second @Sara W. My rule is if a lingering issue lasts longer than 2 weeks, then it's probably time to seek a professional opinion about it. But not being able to do 3 miles without pain is concerning with four weeks to go. I've found sometimes issues linger for a while, then I seek medical...

Princess Half Marathon Weekend 2025 (Feb 20-24 2025)

@DisneyDad0315 here are my recaps running with my daughter (8-9 at the time) and give you an idea of what it's like on race day. It very much aligns with @Herding_Cats recap. Princess 2022 5k Princess 2023 5k Disneyland 2024 5k It's a ways a way, but here is the post for registration tips (link).

The bolded is the important part when dealing with these steep rolling hills. Ignore the pace and "feel" the run. You'll learn after doing it over and over what is an acceptable pace when doing hills that are similar to what you'll encounter on race day. You want to be able to finish the hill...

I was able to find one of your hill routes in Strava segments. I sent you a DM. The steep one is +2 min. Meaning if you run a 9 min/mile, it's like running a 7 min/mile. I only found pieces of the longer route. The downhill is a -10sec. I would guess the 1 mile uphill is about 30-60...
